This is my first "Caller" game. It being a bastard game, doesn't mean we should just roll over and die. In fact, the best way of dealing with it really seems to be to just ignore the whole bastard aspect of it and play as if it doesn't exist, until you have clear evidence of what is bastardly about the game. Seeing as we have a weird 24h pre-D1 limbo in which to do the mayoral vote, that means townie-hunt in overdrive to get emperor/empress votes right!

I am pretty sure that we will only announce the Emperor and Empress. No votecount, no telling who voted what way.
"pretty sure" means that we agreed to do it that way but it's a Caller game after all, so I'd rather wait for a statement from him on that matter.
Update: Caller agreed to what he agreed earlier. So yeah, what I said is what we're doing

On a more serious note (lolol) not only does it give us a 24 hour period to ensure good Emperor/Empress picks, but it also simultaneously gives us an extra 24 hours to find out who is scum, which is never bad, especially on Day One.
Consequently, vote for me for Emperor.

And? What purpose does this statement have other than to serve to cause confusion in the town? why not keep it to yourself? I see almost no town benifits to bringing this up, but a great deal of scum benifts.

The way I read it is that if they are allready married to someone else before the election, then they are both masoned with their old spouse AND the emperor/empress. Likewise if the next in line is married before the old emperor/empress die.
