I dont think that anybody in this player list would deserve to become Emperor because of his name. The Emperor needs to be town and he needs to be able to show this. That is all that is important and that is what you have to vote for.

Drazerk and Forumite looks very bad because they keep predicting things about me. They say that I am "newbie" that I am going to stop being active and they dont write any arguments for this. They just spread mistrust. I will lynch them.
Acrofales looks best so far and he will be my Chancellor if he is not Emperor or Empress.

I disagree. It´s very early in the game so it´s going to be very hard to get reads, therefore I´m going for players I know of, and hope they are Town. If they really are scum then we´ll take care of that later on.

Of course I will vote for someone because of their name. I will vote for ME because of my name. It starts with an A the most imperial of letters. Second comes a C, which is near enough to A to bask in its glorious imperialism. That is clearly more deserving than anybody else's name!
In all seriousness: no, of course I won't vote for someone just because they're player X. However, if a good player were to play and convince me he was town, he'd be more likely to get my vote than someone I know will be useless, simply by merit of him being more capable of employing the powers of the emperor correctly. That's one of the main reasons I put my name forward. I know I will be able to use the powers correctly and I WILL be active and people can hold me accountable easily. It makes me a good emperor (or empress, if gender is disregarded).
That's why meta is useful. People can go over other games I've played in and see that I have been active and play the way I say I will play in this game. With you, all we have are a few posts to go by. Imho it's too early to discern if someone is scum or town (or third party or something else wacky). However, meta allows us to at least decide whether someone will play capably, actively and be easily held accountable for his/her actions.

If you haven't noticed I've spread the mistrust evenly except for the people I like because of their names because I know I can trust or marry them or watch them kill us all and laugh along the way.

You bring up a good point of course. However, assuming the bastard mod will be a bastard is going to get us nowhere. Play to the best of your abilities and if the bastard mod screws us over, then that's too bad.
