There were people threatened, campaigns created and dissolved, a giant book even fell out of the sky! The entire city was in an uproar over the murders of the previous night, and many people wanted to step into leadership to help sort things out. The election race was a fierce one. There were more candidates than the Republican Nomination Race. + Show Spoiler + and let’s be serious, that’s really saying something As BloodyC0bbler stepped to the podium to give his victory speech, the entire city gathered around to admire their victor. They all wanted to know what his plan was for dealing with the gang violence in the city. The civilians were prepared to follow his every word and jump on the first person he condemned to death. Towards the back of the crowd was the angsty Palmar. He always wanted to fit in, but never quite knew how. Because of this, he often gained the resentment of the others. When BloodyC0bbler looked at him and said, “Palmar, you have never quite fit in, and I’ve always had a sneaking suspicion you were against us...”, Palmar just lowered his head. He knew what was coming. As the sun set, the crowd immediately turned and did all manner of unspeakable things to the unfortunate, misunderstood man. Im sorry, I realize most people are bad in pm land and that all townies given a role will use it regardless of competency. As such I made a move that would make it near impossible to operate as a mason without potential downsides. This hinders the mafia's play right from the start before they can get their thoughts into peoples heads or to rolefish. Its a role that is provable day 1, it is one that forces insane pressure on a player if they have to account for their actions. Forcing a mass claim on people and making it so A) only they can use the mason ability. Anyone else found doing so dies. B) lets everyone analyze them equally. C) forces mafia to put their own up for suspicion off the bat or deny them a role in the game. The downside? It outs the masons. Guess what, for removing the ability for mafia to fuck people with pms is a huge benefit. They then have to decide how to properly deal with us which will be far harder to do with all of us actively operating in the open. | ||
