Blue Action Advice: + Show Spoiler + Many people argue against giving blues advice, because it's public, and then the mafia know what our plans are. This has a seed of truth, but is ultimately an oversimplification of the actual reality. If I say "All medics protect Qatol!" the mafia will very likely not hit that person, so as to avoid loosing a KP to a medic. However, clever medics will see that and say "Mafia will very likely not hit him, so I'm going to protect someone else". What this ends up doing is creating endless circles of WIFOM for the mafia. That's a very good thing. Medics: Your goal is to stop people from dying. Not just protecting people from dying. Don't forget that. Think like the mafia, and try to figure out who they are likely to hit. + Show Spoiler + People I think are good mafia targets, and thus good medic targets: Mig Drazek Sevryn Jackal Note: This is NOT a list of people whom I consider most town. This is a list of people who the mafia would want to kill, if they are not actually mafia. For instance, Mig might be mafia, but if he isn't, he'd be a great kill. DT: Your job is to find scum. Not confirmed townies, or blacks. Every check you make gives us information, and you will want to maximize that ability. If you give us the role of someone who is very active, that gives us a small amount of info more than we know already. If you check someone who is very quiet, we get much more info. The best scum for a DT to find is a lurker scum, as they are the hardest to catch otherwise. Vig's: Your job is to kill people who need to die, but will never get lynched. Scummy lurkers are really hard to lynch because you can't build a case against nothing. Honestly, even with the wifom that it generates, I'm against telling vig's who to hit because their individualism is their greatest ability. In Insane 2, It would have been nearly impossible to lynch Meapak, but a vig caught onto his mistake, and shot him. he was the GF. + Show Spoiler + That being said, CB is a pretty "safe" hit at this point imo... Mad Hatters: I have played very little with them, and don't feel qualified to comment on strategy. Anyone else want to chip in? | ||

If you really want to dive into the blackhole of wifom that is Palmar, then go ahead. Mafia could be trying to scare off medics by saying blacks will hit him, then they will actually take the shot. There are a TON of possibilities, I just didn't include him because I figured the chances that mafia are going to shoot him are very low. (And we can't stop blacks so...yeah.) | ||

I would recommend any DT on the player list from 1-13 checks Amber, 14-27 checks Pyo and 28-40 checks bumatlarge | ||

Pyo has thrown away both of his votes and he also made his infamous post d1 where he made it clear he wouldn't take a stance. I would be fine with all 5 of the players listed dying but here is the order of importance for killing them 1. Amber - Amber actually contributed more as a dog in PTP. His posts day 1 were 100% about game mechanics then day 2 he posted one awful analysis. He has done absolutely nothing this game, lurked as scum in the past, and if you look at the one analysis he did do it is full of logic errors (common scum forced analysis trait). 2. Jackal - Has done 0 scum hunting, at least in the thread. Voted nisani without even discussing YM. Also the fact that both him and YM pointed out honeypot to nota makes him more suspicious. 3. Zona - Been completely useless. I am not real familiar with Zona's meta but as a vet he should be contributing much much more. Many of Zona's posts are on game mechanics and provide no help to the town. Along with that zona voted for ym without very good reasoning late in the day when it would be easy for scum to bandwagon on. 4. Kavdragon - was part of the infiltrated honeypot, has not contributed much this game. But YM subtly implied to naz in a pm that nota's death might have implicated Kav. So I am willing to put him lower on the list of my suspicions. 5. Wiggles - I have thought wiggles wasn't town most of the game actually. He also defended YM several times in thread and pm and he voted Nisani instead of YM. However every time YM posted saying I should be lynched he mentioned honeypot. The main 2 people that were implicated in honeypot were myself/wiggles. If YM had gotten me lynched, I would have flipped town and so he would have been forced to push for wiggles lynch next. This is basically the only real strong thing to defend wiggles there is but it seems important to me. If wiggles/ym were actually both scum I think YM would have told wiggles about honeypot so he could tell notasmurf and not be implicated by it. So for now I think wiggles is at least not scum, he could still easily be third party. Besides those guys I think Prpl/Pyo/Lucidity/Sevryn should be viggd/killed/dt checked. | ||
