Of course he has every reason to lie about being assassin. If he is SK, he has night lives and Palmar wouldn't be able to kill him. More information would come from the night and there's a larger chance he could divert the lynch onto someone else and survive til the end.
As for Karshe, there are plenty of things he could have done. He could have claimed that he can only plant a bomb every two days. He could have claimed that he only had one bomb. He could have claimed that there wasn't enough information. He could have claimed roleblocked. You really really want this guy dead don't you. I'm sticking by him. Karshe is town.
Convince me why we should lynch Barundar instead and I will vote with you. Jackal is anti town. There is a HUGE chance if we leave him unlynched he can kill a townie tonight. Barundar can be easily killed tonight. There is at least one more Mafia so the anti town KP remains at 1. Lynch jackal, anti-town KP is 1. Lynch Barundar, anti-town KP is 2.

The roleblock was random because GMarshal quoted torte. I mean there is a chance they planned it, but I'll leave that for a DT check
How about you guys listen to what rean and I are saying. We lynch Jackal to remove KP. With investigative roles on our side, slowing down the game will only help town.

And as for GMarshal, the opinion on him being third party is ENTIRELY dependent on Jackal's claim that there are other assassins.
He has been playing poorly in spearheading the Palmar mislynch. He has however been very active in generating discussion and posting reasoning for what he does. He hasn't been content to sit back and rely on the roles to do all the work like most of us have. He's been trying to help and I am strongly optimistic that Marsh is town.

My mafia finding skills are guesswork at the moment, I have no idea how to improve. I have read Ver's guide all through three times, and I'm trying to look for other resources. I am terrible at town play and I want to improve, I just don't know how.

Dude you are not terrible. Mafia is way more about being able to convince others that you are right than about having a good scumdar. What good is it that you can list 3 mafia by day 2, if you can't get them lynched? It's just as bad as those people that say: "I knew it all along!" in the post game.
You have clear skills. Notice how town believed your claims every time you did them in this game. You are easy to read as town, which is a quality. And because you have the ability to influence others, the moment you get a mafia right, he is dead. You got the potential for a really good town player.
A good scumdar comes with practice. Try and sit out one game and just analyze it, discuss your reads with the host. It's way easier to analyze when you are not part of the game yourself.

That would work, except for the fact that Karshe's role creator would have called bullshit.

The fact that scum can communicate, plot, and coordinate against town outside the thread makes them a bigger threat to town then any 3rd party.
If Barundar died today that's one less brain for scum.
If Jackal is a SK why has he not shot yet? What reason does he possibly have of saving his bullets, when he could have used them at the start of the game and gotten away with it.
He's saved his two bullets because he didn't know who the other assassins are.
If everyone insists on letting the scum live longer then he needs to, so be it. If Jackal does flip assassin, everyone needs to go and take jackal's list into consideration.

Karshe. I also don't get the protown vibes from DropBear, hence why I said his play is poor. I don't want to fully commit to my gut feeling though because that usually tends to be wrong >.>
