I really do not know why people are voting those two I guess they're better candidates than RoL and LSB. Since they both aren't scummy looking.

In this current system if we voted for LSB he would be able to sherk off blame/responsibility because the masses made the decision even though hes the one pulling the trigger. It is really stupid to pretend that it is still a majority lynch, that is like saying America is a true democracy even though someone else is making the final decision. I was willing to take the burden of the MoM kill in deciding who I was going to put down and on top of that I was willing to take responsibility for that outcome. I would be lying if I said that I think a majority decision is always the best way to do it. The mafia is rightfully scared of one good player getting that first kill off and it not belonging to a townie. Its hard to mount a really strong case against someone day 1 and its much easier for the mafia to manipulate a mislynch which is why they would prefer to do exactly what LSB is doing and deferring the mislynch back into the towns hands and allowing us to fuck it up on our own volition, or so we would be led to believe.
So are you suggesting for a private group to decide the lynch?

-If we picked a town mayor, he would then pick his private group (quite likely the vet players who shown good understanding in the game).
What makes a private group more favorable to decide the lynch when we have town veteran players without information against mafia veteran players with information. (information refers to knowing who is town and who is mafia).
-My last point is how if they lynch a town, what would we do then? Have the mayor release a list of players involve in making the decision and we pay special attention to them. This is the only benefit of having the private group.
My conclusion is how do we know if the mayor is not mafia. Also can you provide a plan after the private group lynched a townie? I don't see much benefit of having the private lynch just to decide who to lynch for day 1 .

I’m voting Meapak, but my vote would go to RoL if he resumes running. LSB’s posting quality is lower than usual, normally he is one of the most pro-town people around, and I trust RoL’s scumhunting abilities.
Also please don’t treat the day 1 lynch as a normal majority lynch. A majority voting day 1 mafia lynch is rare, and major voting is a tool to remedy that. To ignore this mechanic would be to throw away an advantage.

LSB and RoL both appear to have an agenda that does not appear to be in our best interests.
I may change my vote yet before the poll closes but I wanted to make it clear I don't support RoL or LSB without making a stupid sounding post in here.

Just woke up, I was skimming through the thread and was just thinking of this.
Here's how it went:
1. He announced candidacy. I voted for him in the first 5-10mins, because I find the votes for Meapak suspicious.
2. Plenty of time later, a few more people vote for him. "out of the blue" so to say.
3. Meapak posts that he'll probably kill deconduo, because of his suspicious voters
4. ilovejonn switches his vote to himself
Now, please explain:
a) How are there "many votes out of the blue"? I explained mine, and then there were 2 more votes. He never got to be the first place or anything
b) Why would ilovejonn switch his post after Meapak threatened to lynch deconduo due to people voting for him out of the blue? I'm sorry but this looks like a very harsh slip-up from a newbie red. If deconduo dies and he flips red, then ilovejonn should die instantly.
Even if deconduo isn't red, it's still a very weird and scummish move in my eyes.
I must admit that I'm really scared of the alternative winning conditions. I get the reasoning behind meapak's idea, and I know we're short on alternatives, but I don't think there are enough clues to actually take down deconduo because of it.
Please think a bit better before you kill him.

Just woke up, I was skimming through the thread and was just thinking of this. Here's how it went: 1. He announced candidacy. I voted for him in the first 5-10mins, because I find the votes for Meapak suspicious. 2. Plenty of time later, a few more people vote for him. "out of the blue" so to say. 3. Meapak posts that he'll probably kill deconduo, because of his suspicious voters 4. ilovejonn switches his vote to himself Now, please explain: a) How are there "many votes out of the blue"? I explained mine, and then there were 2 more votes. He never got to be the first place or anything b) Why would ilovejonn switch his post after Meapak threatened to lynch deconduo due to people voting for him out of the blue? I'm sorry but this looks like a very harsh slip-up from a newbie red. If deconduo dies and he flips red, then ilovejonn should die instantly. Even if deconduo isn't red, it's still a very weird and scummish move in my eyes. I must admit that I'm really scared of the alternative winning conditions. I get the reasoning behind meapak's idea, and I know we're short on alternatives, but I don't think there are enough clues to actually take down deconduo because of it. Please think a bit better before you kill him.
I agree with you CubedIn very good analysis. From what you had said I am persuaded to think that deconduo may be a red. Using our first lynch on him would be a good start. If he turns out red which CubedIn stated we should lynch ilovejohn. This looks like the most reasonable suggestion we have gotten today. Not from "VIBES" but from reasonable logic.

Excuse me what are the reasons behind having me lynched again? Because 3 people voted for me? Cube gave good solid reasons, and the other 2 people are newbs that are probably sheeping or randomly voting. Meapaks bandwagon is MUCH more suspicious.

This logic to lynch deconduo isn't good.
What does it mean to get a vote "out of the blue" a lot of times a player will say "oh, this person came out of nowhere and..."
what does that mean? coming out of nowhere? u have to post eventually so I don't understand. I think maybe mafia want to distract. instead of defend LSB they give us a new target and make us split up.
