Well there won't be any roles who are completely above and beyond the roles that you have seen before. I mean, you won't have a role that lets the Mafia kill 5 players every night or anything. The roles will at least be within reason. You can also expect at least some of the "standard" roles, (possibly with a few twists). I won't say any more because that would spoil the surprise.

Day 1
Hello! Welcome to Radio LOONEY! It is 10 minutes after the hour.
During the events of Haunted Mafia, a certain Bill Murray was inexplicably killed. However, unbeknownst to the inhabitants of Liquidvania, his body was evaporated into tiny bugs which spread the land. This disease quickly spread across new towns, including the town of Insania. In this town, everyone had special powers. No special powers however were prepared for the nigh undetectable, lethal power of Murrayitis.
Mayor Artanis of Insania was quickly overwhelmed by the effects of Murrayitis. It quickly became clear that the Mafia had somehow harnessed the power of Murrayitis and planned to use it against the town.
The night after LSB's good friend Artanis died, he stayed up pulling two all nighters in a row using the powers of his prestigious post of head researcher of the Insania Hospital/Asylum. After emerging from the laboratory, wildeyed and muttering incoherent phrases, he was mistaken for a patient and got his much needed sleep in a padded room wearing a jacket with long sleeves.Shortly after, LSB was killed by a bomb before he got a chance to explain his methods. Thankfully, the contents of the laboratory were opened after his death. The doctors of Insania Hospital/Asylum developed a method of treating infections. A limited supply of vaccines were created and distributed to a select few, the elite plague doctors. Last I've heard They're still figuring out how to open the packaging though. Who in the world uses duct tape to store needles?
Apparently someone spiked the drinking water with forgetforeverine. Known to destroy all memories of other people, this drug has been rarely seen. The last reported usage was during the events of Haunted Mafia. The person responsible has since bought a farm on Fiji with a sheep and a cow to breed horses.
"Citizens of Insania, we regret the loss of Mayor Artanis, however the town must live on. On the first day we will elect a mayor. The mayor will decide the first days kills. Yes, we will be resorting to lynching people. I hope you volunteer to be mayor, even though you don't get any money, we're running low on funds after we had a party convention involving street hook-, er, businessmen in Hawaii"-This message was paid for by the Insania Democratic-Republican Political party.

Wait, this is called insane mafia right? So there should be more "insane" roles than other mafia. If this is so, then detective should stay relatively low profile early and enough if you checked someone red or blue, don't yell it out to avoid being targeted by the mafia.

For Day 1 this is actually quite normal. We will elect a mayor who chooses the Day 1 lynch. Every day after the town will elect a player to be lynched.
Question for the mod... (and I hope I didn't miss this)
Does the mayor get extra votes? Since there is nothing in the OP about this, afaik....

The Mayor will have one additional vote in every lynch after Day 1.
