out of game communication in a public forum is like pretty dumb, imo. there's rules against that or something in most OPs. it's one thing if it's like two mafia dudes talking to each other or something, or it's a PM game, and somehow the channel gets leaked, but yeah public forum, come on ;_;

I know I talk to people in/out of a game sometimes (who aren't in the game, or an obs QT or anything) for informal coaching. When I do it, and the role is revealed in the conversation, it's always in a private medium, rather than where someone from the game could find out

And I join games on here when there aren't any going on in OMGUS, and if someone happens to get butthurt and emotional over a game, I have no qualms with taking screenshots and sharing it with OMGUS. I don't join entirely for the pleasure of that though.

And as far as the out of game communication goes, the communication was between me and Slam on another forum. Yes, it was public, It was a newbie game. Those guys are just learning what mafia is. None of them even knows that a place called OMGUS exists. I never once mentioned it in the game, when I talked about how me and slam knew eachother I said we played together on "another site". Not to mention that the site is password protected, they would literally need our permission to make an account there. Yes, I claimed VT on the public internet but I may as well have done it in chinese because there was an infinitesimally small chance of anybody with any connection to the game seeing it. So I felt fairly safe sharing that information with people who were not in the game/someone who was dead.
