Pendleton didn't line up with the bend properly ala collision. It seemed pretty explicit in the slomos. | ||

Because Meares made contact first which pushed Pendleton down the track, when she came back up they both came together. Pendleton was outside of the line but it was caused by Meares | ||

I don't know either. She obviously crossed the red line and Anna had much more speed. If they didn't touch I think Anna goes well in front. As for who else could have raced it. Trott would have probably won it if she did that instead of the Omnium. Pendleton is 31 that is really old in Olympics terms. Obviously she's a legend and the gold in Beijing was fantastic but our team is SO strong that it's slightly annoying only getting a silver :p | ||
