Because Gatlin used drugs. Even if he is clean now, he's still "bearing the fruit" of the drugs, atleast to some extent. Plus Gay seems to be a really nice guy, and he have a faster personal best. That's why he deserved the bronze more. | ||

Powell pulling up must be a concern, but I think if he's able to compete there isn't much chance for the US outside of the Jamaican team dropping it, and that would be a freak occurrence. | ||
