Clancy is probably gonna win the 1 km. However he needs to make up 4 points. Hansen won the 4 km in front of Clancy and came fourth on the flying lap. It is gonna take some luck on Clancy to win the Omnium, since he has to win with at least 4 competitors down to Hansen and also beat Coquard with at least 4 spots and same goes for Viviani. Beating Hansen is a question of how hurt he really is from the crash. He certainly must have been high on adrenaline and rage after the crash and it is likely that he will come down and begin to hurt before the 1 km. Coquard was fifth in the flying lap and fifth in the 4 km. Viviani was sixth on the flying lap and fourth on the 4 km. Beating all three by 4 spots is probably unlikely. Who do you cheer for: Denmark, France or Italy cause it is likely to be where the gold ends up?

Same with China in Badminton, they win all the medals but they have the best athletes between the Olympics. You make it sound like Australia, Germany and France don't prepare for the Olympics ... Sure GB have the best structures but the domination is still very annoying. Good, I hope many of your countrymen and women continue to be annoyed by the British for many years to come

He doesnt even train for this though, so it shows how incredible he is. If you tie into it he ran long stints on three world record pace pursuits the day before its amazing. Congratulations to Hansen and Denmark though, well done!

No1's fault really both at fault grats to him.

So prob another gold medal in diving for the Chinese. haha I do hope so, but keep in mind that diving is one of those sports in which a single mistake can cost you gold, or even any medal. Also the judges tend not to like Chinese divers sometimes, happens to a lot of nations (though it could just be my bias) :x
