In all honest, when they compete for there country they are whoever they are competing for. Such as murray at wimbledon. He's scottish as much as the british public likes to think he does it for GB he is a scottish player. But in the olympics he compete's as a British person. we are a team there should be no boarders in this competition.

At least Andy Murray won you guys a gold today!

If Federer had to lose to anyone, I guess it would have to be Murray. Wimbledon was a huge redemptive victory for Roger, and the Olympic game win was a huge redemptive win for Murray since Federer won Wimby over him lol.

Congratulations Murray. Sort of devastated by Federer's loss, but he really had a great run this year. Just sad about his chances for a golden career slam though :/ People will always find something to criticize, and I have a feeling that in the coming years they will say that his lack of a career golden slam is a dealbreaker or something

Federer played like garbage, Murray played pretty dang well, simple as that I guess. GG.

well, haters gonna hate because the Olympics have approximately 0,1 weight in a tennis career. It's cool that Murray won it since he hasn't won anything significant before that.

Yeah, I know, I've just always wanted to say that Federer is the undisputable GOAT. A lot of others feel that way too, but honestly there are a lot of other legendary players in the running, and I'd like him to have every advantage he can get by the time he retires haha. But yeah, obviously it's hard to compare players across eras too...but still. Federer is probably my childhood idol

But yeah, great win for Murray and the home crowd of course! ^^

Clancy just crashed the 4. place in Omnium during the Scratch. Seemed unintentional though it might have gotten rid of a competitor for the title...

Ok, my heart has just started up again, who would have thought China would have taken the Aussie water polo team up to a penalty shootout? One step closer to glorious silver!
