Also, people need to stop making sweeping generalizations based off 2 games. I expected iG to lose to FNC (as did most people), but LGD losing to OG was an upset. I'll remind people that FNC beat SSB last year in their first game as well. The question has never been can these teams take a game off eastern teams.

j/k. I hope LGD steps it up. That was really below par game from them. If they come out swinging against KT it'll be fine but otherwise it's Samsung Season 3 all over again. Also am I wrong or has a Chinese team never failed to make it out of groups since S3?

If you're drafting around the Kog, why do you have a Malphite and a (tank) Vi to try to deal with the Kalista? You don't need two low damage, long range engages when you have a Kog'Maw, when both of the champions have almost no utility aside from that. You can't even deal with one threat effectively, let alone the rest of the enemy team. Trying to use the Kog'Maw to overcome a glaring weakness in your team is not the same as designing a comp around the Kog. Honestly the comp could have worked out, if Vi had gone Warrior, and if TBQ didn't ult Annie every teamfight. OG literally just let Annie get ultied and then Niels just ultied her away. It was just stupid what TBQ was doing. Plus Malph got negated hard by the Vlad pick. And that tp+ult bot lane set him back a lot. The draft could have definitely been better, but they just played it out retardedly imo. I would like to see Flame come out in the later group games. No need to make a kneejerk reaction with subs at the moment(unless it was jungle).

The sample size is small. Literally IG in S3 and S4, and SHRC and Edward Gaming in S4. But yes you are right. I personally don't think IG will make it a third time through groups, thus breaking your streak. LGD is fine, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't using their full focus on Origen. Keep in mind the LMS were the kings of sandbagging games. I doubt they saw any of the group stage games as must-win until they actually lost a game. Just so happened it'd be a french baguette jammed down their throats. Imagine if TSM played spoiler for LGD's chances of advancing while TSM not advancing either? Like, that might be as good as advancing past group stages (only to get surely knocked out in quarters) if they managed to somehow beat the perennial favorite of worlds and knock them out. If I were Regi I'd be happy enough with that.

I'm leaning towards option 2. Regarding acorn v flame in the meta, acorn has already played fiora and did well. I'm not sure if this is actually a bad meta for him based on what I saw in playoffs he should be fine.

There's a really simple solution. Wake up at 6:50am, watch the Youtube stream but rewind it to the start (you can go up to 2 hours back) then skip some of the between game stuff, and you will be caught up with 2 hours left to watch fully live, give or take.

Never thought I'd say those words ![]() @Acorn/Flame discussion - Flame was actually playing more "acorn" type champs when he got game time while Acorn was playing "flame" type champs. I don't think there's much of a problem when it comes to the meta for Acorn.

btw I read that xPeke and sOAZ's teams are 3-0 against imp. General xPeke knows how to beat imp's teams.

What should I say about games starting at 10/12 PM when Worlds are in NA, or around 5/6 AM when in Asia? ![]()
