No NA will will get out of world's, luck or no luck...
1. #1 NA
2. #2 KR/CN
3. #3 EU (possibly UOL!)
4. Wildcard.

So it'd be the NA teams struggling against the EU teams and hoping that the Wild card teams are as weak as them.

All of them are very talented players though. I just don't see those problems changing any time soon.

And those two things are issues that can't be resolved in time for Worlds, assuming TL even makes it. The mediocre pick/ban is due to a weak support staff/coach, and the bad late game shot calling is on whomever is the shot caller on the team (which I think is IWD, and if that's the case then it's probably due to not having enough awareness of timers/respawn/lane management). This series also drove home how weak TL's side lane wave management is, as they almost always had TSM's creeps pushed in on them whenever they tried to group up for an objective.

Failing to have priority on Azir is not even a staff problem. That is a Fenix problem. Its fine if he didn't want to first pick it, but it dropped very low several times, and its his job to convey to the staff the actual power level of the champion. Sure, in G1, they picked a Kog comp, which worked fine and they lost because of execution. But in G2 they grabbed Elise 2nd rotation even though TSM had a jungler. This is indicative of them thinking the G1 Bjergson Azir performance was a fluke, which is information only Fenix is qualified to tell them.

And probably all of EU teams as well, with the sole exception being Fnatic, and that's assuming Fnatic keeps up it's current form on the Worlds stage. So it'd be the NA teams struggling against the EU teams and hoping that the Wild card teams are as weak as them. The EU region is overrated because of Fnatic's success. Let's be real, outside of Fnatic EU has 2 decent teams in H2K and Origen that most likely wouldn't make it out of a World's group and then a bunch of garbage. "Struggling against the EU teams" here should really be "Struggle against Fnatic." I'm also willing to make the notion that Fnatic is overrated, slightly, because of the lack of competition in their region.

The reason NA teams lose (usually) is that they just get outclassed from lvl 1 and lose the laning phase, or lose the first set of skirmishes before items come online. I have little faith in H2K or UOL to do any of that.

Also I have no idea why TL didn't pick Azir in first games... also Twitch in G4? Come on Peter.
