Agreed. This is very impressive by Gravity. GRAVITY IS FIRST PLACE IN NA IS THIS REAL LIFE deservedly. Honestly this is the kind of team I can see give fnatic a hard time.

feels like wildturtle is still starting next week.

Let's calm down there a bit. They are looking good and are on an upswing but as it stands right now in a head to head every single player on Fnatic is better than their counterpart on GV.

Think fnatic is too good individually. Gravity remind me of h2k - just a super smart team that knows how to win games and adapt.

the only thing that stops me from jumping on the GRV bandwagon right now is how much i hate their logo.
I'd suggest that they can and probably will go further than TSM at worlds if both go.

I think an argument could be made for Move being better than ReignOver since he arrived, but it really is too early to say as a general truth and we don't have a large enough sample to draw proper conclusions. Apart from that, totally agreed.

Gravity won this off P/B and preparation and TSM has always been one of the easier teams to prepare for.
If Gravity went up against Fnatic like this they'd get smashed.

This seems like an overreaction, but that is the kind of game that gives me hope for NA not being a total embarrassment at worlds. Well thought out p/b, took a strategy and executed it to a tee. Easily the best NA game this split, I hope the other NA teams were taking notes.

Yeah you guys shouldnt compare TSM and fnatic.
unlike TSM, Fnatic can actally play various styles.
|
Not to take anything away from GV. They are a top NA team (I have said this before when Move joined). They did play extremely well. But I think people should relax on BO1s. This is a team comp that completely countered TSM's from the early game to late game. GV won a game last split too with Urgot that stacked all Amor and the game was almost same as this one.

i think grv's prep heavy style would give them a slight edge in a bo1 vs fnatic. get some kind of surprise win off of baiting huni into a dumb pick (like lee top from spring finals). bo3 or 5 i'd take fnatic, but it's a closer matchup.

Hmm Move is really good ye but ReignOver seems to have this ability to just find pressure where they shouldn't be any. We saw this vs SKT and throughout EU. I think he just looks a bit worse atm because fnatic are experimenting with different gamestyle and pocket picks a lot instead of trying their "best" strats to win.

Results probably wouldve been 3-0 if it was bo5.
