Close, but not quite. It's actually 'Leaf'; a cosplayer.
Somewhat off topic, but seriously AS? Assassin Sniper? Am I missing something here, are they just a team of ex Taipei ______ eSports players? Could they seriously not come up with a name that wasn't a combination of 2 of the longest persisting teams' mascots? And their logo is just generic...
This makes me unjustifiably mad.
Oh well, a couple of decent matchups in the first week. Also a couple of deciding ones for the lower tier teams.
Assassin Sniper 0-2 Machi E-Sports ahQ e-Sports Club 2-0 Hong Kong Esports Logitech Snipers 1-1 Taipei Assassins Midnight Sun Esports 1-1 Flash Wolves ahQ e-Sports Club 2-0 Assassin Sniper Machi E-Sports 1-1 Hong Kong Esports
Mihanna is just awful, even Achie and Zonda are serviceable. BeBe is in prison ~_~
But HKES are awful, so BeBe might be slightly happier tonight. Also, never try to headbutt someone behind Baron, lmao.
God bless BeBe, died 3 times in a row without scratching anyone, got carried by Achie and Zonda. What am I watching. Mfw selling negatron for hexdrinker, I love you, BeBe.

Dang that doesn't sound bad at all -- I wonder if that could happen lol. NL and SwordArt have been playing together for so long that idk if the coaches are willing to break them up?
I feel so tempted to say that TPA should just scrap the whole team and start over. and then I realise that that'd mean that Chawy would get scraped too. orz

I think out of everyone Jay needs to go the most -- dude's been shitty since 2013, he has never impressed me with any play, and has way too many cringe-worthy moments to count.
I have no idea what TPA was doing in that bot fight, but now RD's fed like hell. Well done feeding Kalista more, Domo. Totally not gonna bite you in the ass. :|

They're just not good even for LMS standards, that's it. Domo is awful, Jay is bad, Chawy isn't performing to standards people expected either. Morning is fine and Lupin is in prison.
That said, losing 0-2 to Assassin Sniper is too much, lol.

Chawy seems to be hard carrying the team. Poor Lupin though, nerfed by his own support.
Huh, FP Ryze for MS ends up going mid w/a Mao top after AS pick Fizz; they use the final pick for Viktor. Still waiting for a non Twitch/YT stream for Taiwan so I'm not watching five seconds of action every minute zzzzz, wtb a Longzhu stream.
I'm not sure if you guys are aware of the situation with Raison's ban. Even as someone that dislikes HKES, I believe the whole thing is extremely unfair for the team and the player. Please upvote posts about it on reddit to increase visibility and discussion -- right now there's a YouTube video of Toyz ranting about it on the front page, but it's not garnering nearly as much attention as I think it should. Please stand up for our region, I'm so sick of LMS being treated poorly.
Karsa fail smite >.> SwordArt playing uncharacteristically bad toward the end. However, I think flash wolves is a very mentally-tough team (having reverse swept teams in at least two bo5's). Hope they'll pull through.
It's like the raison ban turned dinter into the rebirth of winds
May doesn't seem spectacular to me but the results with May don't seem to lie, I still expect AHQ to roll them over then again I expected Yoe to roll over AHQ last split in the finals so I'm not gonna be so certain this time ~_~
Looks like Dinter did indeed out-jungle Karsa, and by a WIDE margin too. Like Mistake/MrRemember/Tommy keep pointing out, Dinter managed to get a massive gold lead up on Karsa EVERY SINGLE GAME just from farming more efficiently while Karsa makes mostly unimpactful ganks. And holy shit did Flash Wolves look bad. If they're gonna keep playing like this, I do not fucking want them to represent us at worlds -- I think even third seed LCS teams will beat them at this rate. This is probably the poorest performance I've seen from SwordArt this past entire year, his warding was super meh and kept getting caught out over and over and over and over and over. Steak just living up his name and solidifying everyone's perception of him being a shitter/feeder. Maple loses lane to Toyz in all the Viktor/Azir match-up, and Toyz was able to keep up just fine in the TF/Viktor match-up even though the latter is supposed to dominate the lane. The whole team was just getting out-macro'd and out-rotated the whole series, communication just seem so terrible, and I really don't know if the addition of Kkramer really helped at all -- honestly think NL should be back on starting roster (yeah yeah everyone think NL is shit but I think a coherent team that works together better is far better having an ADC with slightly stronger mechanics).
But wow did HKES step up. I'm happy for Dinter, he has improved so much. Like I said earlier he definitely destroyed Karsa this series. I used to hate him a lot as I blame him as taking a role in making TPA (and Taiwan generally speaking) super shitty S3 and S4 and contributed to the bad reputation of the region. I can't say the hate is unfounded since Dinter was objectively horrible for such a long time. But he still managed to improve massively despite the hate he (used?) to get from the Taiwanese community, and I have respect for that. GodJJ looked great too despite his team seemingly not to trust him, maybe he will finally make it to worlds after two close but failed attempts with TPS. Olleh is solid as usual, and one thing I noticed was that he and Dinter did suuuuuch a better job at warding than freaking flash wolves. Olleh and Dinter managed to get a ton of deep wards in early game all series long and just had better/wider ward coverage (and god that pink ward in blue bot-side in game one...). I think May is hands down a significant upgrade to Stanley. Just think back for the past two seasons how impactful Stanley was and compare that to May. Mad props to him too as he has seems to have taken a large break (2 years ish) since his last competitive stint and yet is still up to par. Communication seems to not be an issue either (looking at your Kkramer cough cough).
I'm actually now scared that ahq will be overrun by HKES. I think Toyz will beat Westdoor and I fear for Mountain's hand. I don't know how much of his mechanics will be affected. Maybe Winds can step in for Mountain once they qualify for worlds :> One can dream.
Toyz played an absolutely magnificent jayce but AHQ does not allow teams to make mistakes in the skirmish, one toyz catch and AHQ took absolute control with their 1-3-1
I'm just glad that both team has shown great mechanics and good macro play, I'm excited for LMS teams at worlds. Dinter and Godjj back to their real form tho :>
I think toyz accidentally saved the game by flashing into mountain's Q which would have cancelled godJJ's back.
Might have been a 3-0 but the finals was closer than expected, thought AHQ would beat down HKES but the games were close. Still it does seem that AHQ is clearly better in spite of HKES' occasional big teamfight turn around; they just knew their win conditions and how to play out the map far better than HKES.
I (sadly) expect HKES to beat the moe flash wolves and be the second LMS seed

We need HKES at Worlds for xPeke vs Toyz vs Faker vs PawN
Argh, was out all day so missed the set Not surprised AHQ won w/the spirit of Greentea guiding them, but glad the games were close - hoping for a strong showing from LMS at Worlds vis-a-vis NA/EU.
Anyone know when the gauntlet is? Inb4 TPA & MSE knock HKE & YFW out, hue.
Also, any consensus on Raison+Stanley vs GodJJ+May?
