Simple, TL build 1.5 damage comps for the next 3 games and lost because they didn't have the damage to finish kills. Or all of C9 would end a fight at half hp and never had to worry. Add in some fucked up lanes and denying, and you have 3 games where TL never figures out what the first problem was (1.5 damage comps, adc + support mid laner).

They had a 1.5 damage comp game 3, urgot+kalista(+lulu) which surely qualifies as more than 1.5 damage in game 4, and yeah 1.5 damage in game 5 but hard to say that that was the reason they lost the final match. I'm at a loss to what happened, but I do feel like not picking lulu game 5 would have been best after losing two games in a row.

Watched vods. When I saw the picks in game 5 (especially the lulu pick and lucian as the only damage dealer) and the avarice blade on sneaky farming casually (like the previous 2 games) I knew it was over. Why would you pick lulu a 3rd time when you saw it didn't work at all in ? Quas was hella fed on lulu in game4 but guess what ? SHE DOESN'T SCALE. Farm needed to be put on piglet, they didn't have enough damage. Repeat this scenario 3 times in a row and you have the last 3 losing games in this series.
TL can't adapt it seems, their coach needs to take a serious look at himself in the mirror if he can't figure out something so obvious. They need to play to their strengths -> put quas on a carry toplaner and not a lulu or a low farm tank, put fenix on a damage midlaner (urgot could've worked but his ultis were absolutely terrible, he suicided every time for nothing) and give farm to piglet or allow him to at least have an even lane.

For what it's worth I think Piglet's kogmaw was really fucking bad and Sneaky played much, much better in game 3 onward.

Tbh p/b was ok. I thought game 3/5 were the only questionable ones (Especially game 5 but that was honestly determined by level 1 cheese and they did ok despite circumstances). Game 4 was just out rotated by C9 really hard where C9 just outplayed the map really hard. I think TL played a really good series. I still maintain if they got the Corki mid pick 4, they had the series 3-0. You could tell Hai did NOT want to give away Lulu/Janna first rotation and you could also see that something went wrong game 3 at the early lock of Kog/Nunu because of TL's reaction when Corki was taken 4/5.

Yeah, honestly if TL got the laneswap level 1 in game 3 we are probably incredibly hyped with a 3-0 victory. Them having to play Lucian vs Kog was painful. Good play there by C9 to sneak Lucian and Nautilus down bot in those lane brushes.
Picking Kog over Corki in champ select hurt too, Fenix clearly wasn't ready for the lulu mid. The corki pick also let Hai not lose hard in lane.
Even with the way it worked out, had iwd's flash was up for that 1 baron steal attempt they probably win there too. Gold would have been even, and instead of C9 taking a stranglehold and knocking their way into the base TL probably takes a tower and gold lead.
Game of inches. I'm proud of the liquid squad. They lost, but I think they showed they are a force to be reckoned with. To say you are about even with C9 as a team is awesome, to be honest. C9 has been top dog since they arrived.

Isn't game 4 the one where the maokai that got shit on tp's in 1v5 and they can't kill him? I guess all the games ran together in my mind because they lacked damage for all of them. Also how the fuck does callista kill anything other than dragon/baron?
