Even so, this split has been so tough that EG and Col improved so much. They're clearly better than all challenger teams right now. This is not the same case as last split where XDG and Coast basically gave up trying half way into the split.

Yes, it's just a matter of animation delay. When Dexter casted rappel directly on WT, he was in range. When the animation ended, he was not.

I mean, TSM has been playing better with Loco, so it's not like loco is not having an impact. You can't realistically expect to input coach mid season and expect TSM to be #1 in NA, especially after 2 roster swaps. Next split will be way more telling in regards to what Loco can do with TSM.

From what I remember of interviews, and seeing as how doublelift is essentially the most "senior" member now, I think he probably has say on the roster decisions if he wanted it. So I assume it's a joint hotshotgg + doublelift venture for the most part

I know triforce/bortk is the standard build but this is not a standard composition. Over the last three months, how many competitive games have seen the lulu/kog/nunu combo? I don't follow all the scene but I don't remember seeing it.

Curse are just the poster boys for stalling games currently. Other teams seem capable of snowballing games to some extent. Dig have had a lot of trouble, but they also refuse to pick stuff that will scale well late for some reason.
I hate Crs's style of play so much though. They had shit objective control and it barely mattered because of the meta right now. EG was up 10k gold and nearly managed to throw that game, and other teams have had similar problems up 5k-10k.

Dig need one of those Fnatic style bootcamps, or to take a week off streaming and just get their shit together. Their champ pools feel week, they make weird item choices, Shiphtur's laning seems to have declined, and their gameplans just feel off. At the start of the split it seemed like they knew exactly how they wanted games to play out, and even if they made mistakes they had a plan in place to work with. Now when they screw up they just sort of run around and try too hard to make plays.
Not to take anything away from CLG though, they played really well, and Aphromoo is a monster.

I think their decision making was actually pretty good given what they had. They were down a lot, decided to opt into trades across the map, but they just didn't have enough time at the end. Pretty sure full tank renekton is fine if the other team doesn't have the damage to kill you. level 3 renekton ult+sunfire is 200 aoe dps which is a rather large amount, and over the duration of his ult it's a LOT of damage.

I personally have no issue with full tank renekton so long as they play it out correctly, but yes, it's best to build 1 offensive item early on to smash lane, but they gotta compensate for the fact that they dont' have a korean toplaner.
