Please tell me this is tongue in cheek, because I found this way too amusing.

To break your hopes right away, I don't even think NA has that much of a talent problem as it is often made out. I don't see myself in the position to actually judge it, but history seems to imply that NA teams are just bad at recognizing and picking up talent. The C9 players have been around for so long and no one decided to poach them (I think CLG could have solved some of their roster issues by just picking up Meteos, other LCS teams too) and the recent disheartening case of XDG rather sending Zuna jungle than kicking him and using Robert... they played their hearts out in the qualifier, but that was an exceptional performance, mainly by their toplaner. Their everyday play is alot more average than what they displayed that day When the teams get introduced on stage, CLG's jungler will be "mysterious man X", a small person wearing a pink pony mask. Riot will say they allowed the re-emplacement even when that mysterious player expressed that he wanted his identity to remain hidden. Champion select will start and dignitas will be very confused as to who to ban against that guy. Mysterious Jungler X will pick Elise, a rather standard pick. He will then proceed to absolutely murder everyone of dignitas's lanes, soloing baron and 1v5'ing at the end while Doublelift is pushing bot. Scarra will get very angry after getting camped that hard. After the game, dignitas will go to CLG for the mandatory handshake, but Scarra, still disgusted by the performance goes to the mysterious man and knock his mask off with a belly slam. Time stops, everyone holds their breath and look at the now naked face of CLG's hero. XJ9 is here standing, a bit confused but he quickly realizes what happens. He goes to the front of the stage and screams, "I did nothing wrong!, that bitch betrayed me, she played leesin" and then escapes out of the building, promptly pursued by the riot police, trying to catch the criminal.

Eventually a second Cloud 9 will probably come along. NA does have a rather strange habit of having people swap roles, rather then getting someone who actually plays the role onto the team. Nien, voyboy, kiwikid, etc etc. It feels like american teams have more "team loyalty" in that they're a lot less willing to swap players out, preferring to keep the same people on the team, even if it's at the expense of results.
