Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] +Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120 |

Maybe, NA team should travel to korea and train? Seems like it helps with sc2 players like scarlett and naniwa. Game 3 doesn't mean much though since that double kill at lvl 1 was so brutal. Level 1 doesn't somehow escape the scape of the game, it's not just luck and doesn't just "happen". Of course it counts fully. I just don't get why people are so focused on this game 3 thing. Fnatic did the exact same thing against Vulcun and lost horribly. Zuna beat them because of a bad level 1 - that's how much it puts you behind. how can you even compare those, holy shit na pls. What are you even trying to say? Fnatic is the better team. I'm just saying a shit level 1 can easily ruin a game. Your EU epeen is intact, don't worry buddy.
eupeen?

Also, I'm sure Balls gave 3rd blood, because of Cyanide being 2-0, and that's why he didn't care that he actually revealed lee Sin in the bush. Jeez.

I don't have any hopes for Gambit, they looked horrible in the group stage.

Man, I'm sad Cloud 9 lost
They put up a really strong fight against Fnatic though. It's sad that their level 1 is still iffy. In games 1 and 3 their level 1 was a little off. On the other hand, I'm glad they went 1-2 and not 0-2 and that the series was really close until the end. There were many good points such as Meteos pretty much Smiting everything, and Balls on Rumble is always a pleasure (I love Rumble).
On the otherhand, Fnatic is now my team to cheer for! For me this tournament is C9 > Fnatic > OMG > NJBS in terms of favorite team and I'm glad that unless Royal makes it to the finals, there will always be someone for me to cheer for on the bottom side of the bracket.
Gogo fnatic!

If you want to say Fnatic legitimately outplayed C9 that game and that it wasn't based around the level 1 then you have to accept the fact that Fnatic lost to Vulcan. Yes, the same vulcan that lost a 6k gold lead against Gambit at 20 minutes. I'm not sure what you've been reading but I for one haven't seen people saying that Fnatic is undefeated in this tournament

I wouldn't say c9 fell apart. It was a pretty tight series. Poor vision control and level 1 choking is the story here I think :|.

lollll Fnatic raped that series and they play a clip of C9 winning a fight

TI3 had better tournament style (RR + Winner/loser bracket? Yes pls). Multiple streams for the ability to process more games. No silly seeding from pre-tournament results.

After how badly they beat down all the other NA teams this isn't a good look for NA Honestly I'm disappointed in the 1. Map control/vision/warding and 2. Mid lane/jungle players from NA. All worlds has taught me is that if I want to make a name for myself in NA I should be a crazy aggro jungler who ganks a lot and makes plays because literally every NA team needs that right now. Meteos was fine. He was honestly one of the few redeeming features of C9 in games 1 and 3. 1 jungler out of 8 in the region's LCS was "redeeming". Not fantastic, not amazing, not a playmaker, but "redeeming". My point stands.
You're reading too much into the word "redeeming". Meteos did his job and then some. C9 was just too heavy.

OT: NA's lack of strategic depth really hurt them I think. You can only do so much as C9 when you practice against teams with no plans/coordination beyond the early midgame.

I know that this is some kind of a dig but after OMG's performance in groups dismissing iG like that is pretty nuts. iG is damn good and the fact that they aren't at worlds should be evidence to how strong China's scene is.

I guess I'll go sit in my delusional little corner you awesome european, you. lol lost to double kill lee that failed invade after, no wonder usa is so shit in lol if you actually think like that :O You're funny, but I'm not quite sure that it is intentional. that seems like a solid argument, as good as finding retarded excuses for every na loss :O
When did I come up with an excuse as to why NA lost? Fuck man. You're making shit up now. Clearly Fnatic is the better team.. they WON. Not to mention there's no shame in losing to the #1 team from group B who also 2-0'd SSO. All I have said so far is that the series itself (2-1) was pretty damn close until game 3.
