Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] +Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120 |

I guess I'll go sit in my delusional little corner you awesome european, you. lol lost to double kill lee that failed invade after, no wonder usa is so shit in lol if you actually think like that :O You're funny, but I'm not quite sure that it is intentional. that seems like a solid argument, as good as finding retarded excuses for every na loss :O

After how badly they beat down all the other NA teams this isn't a good look for NA Honestly I'm disappointed in the 1. Map control/vision/warding and 2. Mid lane/jungle players from NA. All worlds has taught me is that if I want to make a name for myself in NA I should be a crazy aggro jungler who ganks a lot and makes plays because literally every NA team needs that right now. Meteos was fine. He was honestly one of the few redeeming features of C9 in games 1 and 3.
1 jungler out of 8 in the region's LCS was "redeeming". Not fantastic, not amazing, not a playmaker, but "redeeming". My point stands.

Maybe, NA team should travel to korea and train? Seems like it helps with sc2 players like scarlett and naniwa. Does not work lookup CLG That was quite a long time ago though. And I believe CLG.eu went on to do pretty damn well in the EU scene after that.
NA teams aren't as terrible as people make them out to be. They're behind, yes, but they can potentially take games off of EU/KR/CN and have a chance to catch up.
I'll be honest, I think Meteos is a very good jungler, but I don't think his playstyle is optimal for this meta. C9 gives Meteos way too much farm and while that is fine and helps Meteos dominate the NA scene, it just doesn't work out well when playing against more experienced teams. Maybe if carry junglers are super popular Meteos can translate his farm-heavy style into international success, but the current jungle meta just doesn't really support his playstyle.

Level 1 doesn't somehow escape the scape of the game, it's not just luck and doesn't just "happen". Of course it counts fully.
I just don't get why people are so focused on this game 3 thing. Fnatic did the exact same thing against Vulcun and lost horribly.
Zuna beat them because of a bad level 1 - that's how much it puts you behind.

Oh wait, NJS vs Gambit is tonight? For some reason i thought it wasn't til tomorrow evening...

The deciding factor of NA vs EU was the groups stages not C9 vs Fnatic because even if C9 had won EU would still be considered a stronger region. Really exciting games even with the brutal lvl 1 catches in game 3. C9 should have banned Kass over Ori since Hai could not shut down xPeke's Kassadin.

NA is definitely the weakest region, but I think C9 is good enough to be competitive on the world stage. It's too bad there are no international tournaments other than worlds.

This should be highlighted more. Hai and Balls can have glimpses of brilliance but they just aren't as good at lane phase as xPeke and soAZ.

Sure, if C9 doesn't improve at all. No faith lol. Nah Volband's been hating on NA all tournament. Nothing new to see here folks, move along. In other news, I'm pissed my schedule only let me see this last game. How were games 1 and 2? He's been hating on NA all Summer Split imo. #1 NA hater. Game 1 was Kassadin/Lissandra combo wrecking an immobile C9 comp. Game 2 was Balls Rumble. Game 3 was just an example of why C9 needs to improve their Level 1. Silliness. game 3 was an example why you never buy mana manipulator as support Eh, Mana Manipulator wouldn't have saved him. Leona dominates the matchup if she gets ahead regardless, and both Corki and Zyra are fairly mana intensive. It's a bad buy, but the loss was for other reasons. ??? Mana manipulator is the same cost as 4 wards, or 2 vision wards. Vision wins games, and most importantly can turn games around. The game wasn't won in lane, it was won when c9 got caught over and over and over because no vision.

Well time to see how NJS fares. Their current skill level is complete mystery to me so should be interesting.

And you rather have Peke on Kass than Orianna ,especially after your "counter" pretty much failed in game 1. Okay, well... ugh... let's blame lvl 1 I guess, or something.
The truth is, Fnatic was in charge of all the 3 draftings, but they were too cocky in the second one, they paid for it - and they deserved it, for udnerestimating C9.

C9 definitely shoulda started using games as an opportunity to increase their champ pool like 3 weeks into the season :\

Really disappointed with Cyanide though, with those 700 gold, he should have been a monster. Instead, he was always weaker then Meteos although not having that much more impact after those 2 kills.
