Fnatic are all-around rock solid now and have been ever since they pulled their shit together in the EU lcs. Peke easily has Korean level mechanics on top of mad balls and a sick game sense, Soaz has a huge champ pool and formidable late game presence, Cyanide knows his teammates in and out and also understands the enemy jungler more often than not and Puszu is an unconventional and surprisingly brutal & precise AD I don't think I've seen him miss more than 2 ults in the past 10 games or so + great synergy with Yellow who isn't derping at all. Put them all together and they are like captain planet their team fighting ability on a good day is out of this world.
On top of being great players they can play so many dominating strategies it's next to impossible to ban them out, at this point in time they are certainly the strongest team in the world when it comes to available and practiced playstyle options and champ pool depth.
I think they can go all the way ^_^ and if not they will give any Asian team a run for their money no prob

It's something I've brought up to Riot and hopefully we can rectify this. Plenty of people watched the CN Regionals, didn't understand the picks/decision making, and dismissed OMG and Royal as bad teams.
It turns out that if they're winning with things you don't understand, it doesn't mean they're bad, it means they're so good that their understanding of the game is beyond your comprehension.

We need someone like that IPL translator. We need to see the dark side of these teams. Villainize them and they'll instantly gain popularity.

Compare it to OGN and they're miles different in production and outreach. You can't honestly blame anyone for not following the Chinese LCS Maybe it's because I watched enough BW off shitty Daum streams, but I'm not exactly sympathetic to people who demand casting in their own language and Twitch streams.
Compared to a year or two ago, watching Chinese games is so easy now. You check Leaguepedia for times, go to fengyunzhibo, click on the stream that's obviously playing League with the most viewers, and you're done. It's not like when you had to use some shitty PPTV plugin (that triggered every form of malware detection in existence) in IE to get a 240p stream to barely be watchable.

Oh my god yes, everything nowadays is the easy path compared to those days. Even watching a BW final wasn't granted.

I used to watch Korean/Chinese BW streams back in the day too, usually in terrible quality, because that's all there was. These days with NA & EU LCS plus high quality English casting of OGN games, there's so much LoL available to watch already that I'm not going to put up with it for the LPL games. If/when there are accessible English cast streams available of the games I'll be more than happy to watch them but until then no thanks.

For me it's all down to language. I can watch esports in Korean because the language doesn't bother me. However, since Chinese is tonal, it's very bothersome to listen to. Keep in mind, this is coming from somebody who will smile stupidly while sitting on a train overhearing a conversation in a language he doesn't know because he likes to listen to it.

You could be the Reginald of translating.

there's also the bw factor. a lot of western fans are familiar with the OGN franchises and lore, so they are more easily hooked into korean kespa LOL leagues.
i htink if china wins worlds in convincing fashion, things will build more for china. but the stream quality is absolute shit and you won't get more than hardcore fans watching

This is actually one of the worst excuses I've ever seen.
Also, I was always on China's side. I will be happy to say that I did not care for the Korean hype train, and have been cheering for Comrade San and Comrade Cool.

Personally I've just never really been interested in the chinese scene for some reason. Now I realise how stupid that was.
