That and KR correctly predicted NA's lane setups to keep them in 3 losing lane matchups, when NA tried to salvage the lane MUs. He's rarely that flashy, but he's also one of the most consistent top laners in NA.

Not to say that Ez/Lulu are bad laners either, Thresh is just OP and Double played retarded. But Diana is legit easy as hell to lane as.

It doesn't matter how strong they are, Korea will twist the lanes towards their advantage, then punish North America for every single mistake they make. It's not just about the mechanical skill difference (although it exists), Korea's metagame exploits the most obvious weak point in North American playstyle to a degree not equaled by any other regions. I came here specificlly to read something like this after reading the twitch chat vomit. Thank you.

Korea is just a lot better. They are better, but the players in the NA All-Star team are at a game knowledge level were they shouldn't simply DIE in lanes 1v1 or 2v2. Its LoL 1v1 - dont die. Theyre nervous. While koreans are indeed very good, they're not on a laning level thats incredibly superior than NA (its asymptotic). The thing that defines koreans as better are their tactics and game presence.. Mechanically-wise as well in the odd player (InSec and Madlife, for instance). I retort, nerves are getting in NA guys' ways. That and what Letmelose said.

Very good post. I feel that NA as a whole have never evolved to figuring out the Korean style of play (ever since Azubu Blaze at MLG). Certainly the NA style has changed but it's never quite been able to deal with Korea's more frenetic style of play.
