That 2v5 engage was pretty dumb, Wolves...

It seems to me to be the biggest difference in champ picks between the regions. That and Volibear (I don't think we've seen him in NA?), but Varus seems still way more than Voli.

Especially as Giants! was too split in fights to really abuse the burst into Garen ult of their teamcomp. That 2v5 engage was pretty dumb, Wolves... Hope you're kidding, Garen did pretty well in the 2v1 lane. Problem is Garen doesn't give enough after that to warrant a pick really. On March 01 2013 23:49 JonGalt wrote: Why is that? Varus has been picked a lot in korea as well, he's honestly a good champ. NA ad carries are just behind imo.

And it's just different metas... can't explain it other than individuals make choices, make champs super-powered with practice, and use them differently in different places.

He has regen which is irrelevant with the poke that comes with 1v2 and no gap closer.

I feel that EU adc players in general are alot more "defensive" and positional than their US counter-parts. But that might tie into what you said about NA being behind. EU adopted the season 3 adc-style faster than NA. This however might change again when the new botrk gets into the tournament patch.
