After assessing all the comments from EU Day 1, we've decided to put a warning in regards to any bashing of commentators and cameraman. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, don't post. You are always welcome to mute the stream. Understand that this is just the beginning and production is a work in progress.

Thanks,

Some people would say EG vs GG is an upset.

I'm pretty hyped for Oce vs Froggen, two of the top EU mids facing eachother. And the history between the two teams is big too.

How can that be an upset? EG is in the lead when it comes to encounters in tournaments. Both teams have been on the same level for a long time.

Not a huge one though. It probably seemed more so to the people that were proclaiming EG was dead after under performing in a few tournaments when they hadn't been on a regular practice scheduled with several members on vacation. I'm not saying EG was the favorite, just that it could have gone either way and rumors of their demise were greatly exaggerated.

I'm not sure how the rest thinks, but I don't think Oce is at Froggen/Alex/quite a few more level.
Yesterday vs Fnatic for example, he was not impressive at all.

Well befoe this started Gambit was hyped quite a lot (which I understand) and EG was frequently critisized (which i didnt get).

Several lackluster performances after the World Championship and everyone just thought they were having a fall from grace. They just needed to practice and they look like they are returning to top form.

Oce is a coin toss. He isn't a stable player. He can beat anyone but sometimes he can go on a super hard tilt.

Yep. He can be top tier or shit tier. I hope he gets one of his better games against EG, I want to see the SK that got their LCS spot.

Yeah thats the part I didnt get. I was mostly surprised these tournaments how well they did given their non-existing practice at that time.
Maybe it was related to people actually overrating CLG.eu and expecting too much from them.

Interesting that one of SK players is listening to music I always thought music might block out calls from team mates. On the other hand hearing calls is the least of SK's problems.

What's the trading rules during the LCS? Can the teams trade players whenever they feel like it or is it only during midseason or something similar or what?

Ahhh, thanks for this. My feelings were mimicked by Redox. I was pretty confused why everyone said GG was going to stomp on EG and them winning was a HUGE deal. I always thought EG's head to head with GG was really positive in EG's fabor.

So they can only defeat people who have gaming houses? or only Koreans? I'd sooner think they just threw the first week to make it interesting then believing that gaming house was the reason they didn't do too well this week.
