We don't think EG took Wolves/SK very seriously so they were trying out a more aggressive play style which is obviously against the norm for them. Their comp against GAM was much more traditional for them. Their comp against Gambit wass more traditional, because what they actually wanted to do was banned. While against Sk, the traditional stuff was banned. They did not take SK any less serious than Gambit. Wickd called Sk their most dangerous opponent, because they scrimmed a lot against them and lost more than they won.

Missed that bit, didn't realize SK was looking that good. Maybe they are finally developing synergy since their roster has been stable for a while.

I personally think its a really good strategy considering the defensive benefits and the insane amount of slowing all around. Do you guys think we will see more this, or that other teams will try to do it as well? Its situational - the only real AP was from Wickd who is only about bursting down priority targets (which he hadn't really been able to manage) and he's never going to try to burst down a tank, nor could he, so the remaining damage from EG was all attack damage so building a stack of Randiuns was extremely effective. Froggen's Jayce was doing almost no damage and Yellowpete wasn't faring much better. It was all down to that Akali pick, certainly if Akali gets going she's a terror to deal with, but when she gets relatively shut down and people itemize against her...she is less than effective

As long as he isn't terrible with standard picks maybe his team will revel other ban-worthy champs that prevent a Kennen ban from being too critical. He plays a wicked Ashe as well (Ashe/Nunu lanes). You can see that in the Fnatic vs Giants game from LCS Quals. I can't say for sure about other champions but he feels like a Vayne player to me. Just a hunch. I'm glad to see Giants come out firing though. Jimbz, Samux & Exter are all fantastic players. I just hope Wolves pick themselves up after Week 1. I think that Wolves will have trouble breaking the top 4 teams but will do well against everyone else. Meanwhile Giants look capable of picking off the top 4 if things go their way. Can't wait to see how DragonBorns & aAa do in week 2 even though Riot love throwing all of the "lower-4" into the fire in the first round.
