Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.

Fair warning to all.

No mention by either MVP or rapidstar of a brother in other esports and no real proof.

CLG.NA was the first NA team to go to Korea and discover how good they were. When they told NA teams here some (TSM) just put it on CLG being not that strong. If you listen to Doublelift and Saintvicious they have tons of respect for the Koreans.

Like i said, it will get worse. lol hasnt been popular for long in KR.

i predicted half a year ago when auctually TSM and M5 were on top of their regions that within time KR would come and take all our monies. That will start to happen now, the Korean mentality of approaching the game will snowball KR vs Foreigners into a lead so big that Foreigners will /FF at 20.

? not sure why everyone flames NA teams so hard.

TSM put up a pretty exciting fight.

Cos NA scene was kind of arrogant going into this. TSM betting on Dig to get out of group play. CLG.NA didn't even practice before the 2 millions dollar.
But most importantly, how hard they ALL get smashed 1-7 in total. NA teams can even beat SAJ which considered to be the worst coming into this tourney. Also, the way they lost as well, most games are just one side stomped from Asian teams.

NA teams got to the top too easily, so it doesn't mean anything to them. They were a joke in season 1 and they will continue to be a joke in season 3, they can still enjoy their stream revenue. They're still going to use all of their remaining power to keep down up and coming NA teams.

This.

TSM and CLG etc, had a easy start to get famous with MLG and stuff. With almost no europe teams coming to the events, let alone korean teams.

Fanbases were made etc. Kinda funny how the same happened in sc2. we had the gods of sc2 from na at mlg events, then suddenly koreans came to mlg events and it was koreans 1-8.

I just feel NA teams are riding the past. Yes the won alot of tourneys, but how was the competion back then?

Until it reaches the point where non Korean teams become "foreign" and you got separate tourneys for Korea and the rest of the world. We are witnessing history folks

Season 3 is region locked for the most part (according to what has been revealed thus far).

This allows each region to remain popular and interested in the game.

Atleast the personal skill gap isn't that high in the game, so if people get their shit together and stop soloqing for them twitch/own3d moneyz the gap should be(I guess already is, proven by M5 and CLG.eu) alot lower than in other popular games these days.

I'm not sure how popular and interested NA viewers will remain when their home teams lose in 20 minutes to every notable EU/Asian team.

If CLG.NA and Dignitas put on a performance like this, then how will NA qualifiers 4-8 fare? Especially given that the unqualified Korean teams (Blaze, Storm) are just as good as the ones that came?

?

It's harder to gauge for the duo lanes since it's also more complex, but the amount of solo outplays we saw in mid/top by Asians were pretty convincing.

People in the US still seem to watch starcraft. Although to be honest I doubt how much longer that is going to last.

Waje up people that really think TSM got a chance in this tourney. Even after yesterday there are alot of people still put TSM in the top 3 teams lol.
TSM would have been eliminated in group if they were in there. Just look at how bad their top 2 opponents did in group play, you can evaluate TSM's real power from that.

NA is far behind the rest of the world, maybe ahead of South America? if there is any team there. They can't even compete with SEA teams(both SAJ and TPA are in the Garena Pro League, which is one of the few tournies that SEA has)

Are you serious ? They lost a bo3 against Azubu Frost, arguably the best lol team at the moment. You're saying TSM couldn't have beaten clg.na, dignitas, SK, WE, Saigon Jokers ?

See, you still delusional, even after this.
Lets say you take SK out of group A and put TSM in there. Do you really think TSM can beat Frost and iG to get out of group A?
Lets say you take Dig out of group B and put TSM in there. Do you really think TSM can beat Najin and CLG.eu or even Saigon Jokers(given how hard SAJ stomped Dig, I would give SAJ a really good chance of beating TSM).

Imo, NA teams will just stay bad. Why? Because stream soloQ 10 hours a day bring them enough profit to get them going. There are so much tourney that only available to them, so no Korean/Asians team can come and take their prize. They can just stay bad playing each other and make still make money.

Last time TSM played CLGeu they beat them in 2 Bo3s so yea they would of had a shot.

lol, this CLG.eu has transformed. They were just in the OGN Summer tournament where most team are Koreans and Chinese and they nearly take the champion. And you think TSM can take on current CLG.eu? Not in a million years imo.
