At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012

I revise my earlier statement: M5 vs SK will probably determine 1/2 seeding TSM lost to Crs head to head, so even if both teams win out Crs will advance over TSM. TSM pretty much needs to win while hoping Crs loses. Ehome and Sypher have both looked awful, but theoretically could still advance. I think if Ehome wins their remaining two games vs TSM and Curse it would put them at 2-3 and Curse/TSM both at a best score of 2/3 (since both are 1-2), which means Ehome would have tiebreakers over both teams and should advance, provided Sypher doesn't win out at the same time (which would put Sypher at 3-2 while the other three are all 2-3). Right now it's two 3-0 teams (M5/SK), three 1-2 teams (TSM, Sypher, Curse), and one 0-3 team (Ehome). TSM has one easy match and one tough match remaining (EH/SK), Curse has two easy matches (Sypher/EH), and Sypher still has to deal with M5, as well. So, it's probable that TSM will win one of their remaining matches and maybe 50-50 on winning both, Curse could likely win both, and Sypher will probably lose at least once. But, as mentioned earlier, Curse has the tiebreaker over TSM should they both win out. TSM has two ways to advance: win both games while Curse loses at least once or win once while Curse drops both games. Since Curse has a weak remaining lineup, they probably won't lose both. That said, they have a sub and a losing streak. Whoever wins in SK vs M5 will definitely advance. Still working on if the loser might not advance. Scenario: M5 wins vs SK and ends 5-0 - In TSM wins out and is 3-2 SK loses out and is 3-2 Curse wins out and is 3-2 Sypher goes 2-3 - Out Ehome 0-5 - Out Basically, Curse would then have the head-to-head tiebreaker over TSM, TSM over SK, and SK over Curse, so you'd have to go on to the next tiebreakers to see who advances. Scenario: SK wins vs M5 and goes 5-0 - In TSM wins out 3-2 M5 loses out 3-2 Curse wins out 3-2 Sypher 2-3 - Out Ehome 0-5 - Out M5 head-to-head tiebreak over TSM/Curse and advance. Curse head-to-head over TSM so should also advance (assuming I'm right on tiebreaker rules). Scenario: SK 5-0 - In M5 3-2 TSM 3-2 Sypher 3-2 Curse 2-3 - Out Ehome 0-5 - Out Another case of three-way tie where everyone has a h2h over one other team. I cbf to keep going, but suffice to say the group is still wide open.

Diamondez just couldn't invade against him. Good way of dealing with the counter-jungling (though, maybe someone like Skarner or Mundo would have been better, I don't really know). Lee sin isn't that great a counterjungler - in fact in that matchup I'd expect more pressure on lee sin's jungle from udyr rather than the other way around. If you're letting fear of diamond counterjungling you dictate your jungle picks and not responding to the other team's teamcomp (which probably wasn't going to be an aggressive counterjungling style this game with heroes like ashe and vlad) then you're already sacrificing a hell of a lot of potential power without him having to sacrifice anything at all. I'd hope tsm aren't so afraid of M5 that that sort of thing is happening. I never really understood why everyone thought reginald was such an amazing player - he's always been a flashy player, to my mind, who makes some good plays and some excellent plays and some mistakes. Right now, he, TOO and TRM have all been playing really poorly - TOO especially is not living up to his previous standards in the jungle. Even in scrims he keeps making mistakes and getting picked off. With their bot lane not looking weak but certainly not looking as dominating in the past as it has, TSM seem in some trouble. Rainman's interview where he said they thought they were too weak to contest dragon was pretty mindboggling - they were maybe 1k or 2k gold behind at that point? They certainly weren't so weak that giving objectives away for free was at all a good decision. How can they have misread the game so badly? Also their teamcomp...

They are so arrogant and argumentative, especially with eachother. Its not the way a team should operate and its showing, they are falling apart. The fans shouting blindly that all those arguments and scrim defeats on stream meant nothing seem to be wrong im afraid.

Xpecial gets props because it seems like he has the proper attitude even though he deserves a different team that appreciates it. Also he'd be a perfect fit to be the team captain as the support player, I'd imagine him to be the best picker as well. However he'd need everyone to listen to him which they never would because they don't know what's important if you want to be a successful competitive team.
