At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012

What are you talking about? SC2 patches come once every couple of months. Last LoL Patch came out yesterday? You think it'd be fair to have Kiev on a patch released 24 hours ago? Also the patches arent released at the same time in all the regions. So it would be even more unfair to always play on the newest patch. Really? Wow interesting dynamic there. Are all SC2 patches actually released on the same day? The league patches are all released on the same week (just different days). It isn't like Europe servers get the patches weeks afterwards. The SEA server is run by a different company for league so they do as they please ^_^ Well sc2 patches release worldwide within a 24 hour period and tourneys are always played on the newest patch, no way not to after all. The fact they keep it on the old patch is interesting to me. I think it should always be played on newest patch, and if regions are on different patch, that's Riot's fault for not doing worldwide patch release simultaneously... Though I agree Riot patches more frequently than SC2, that doesn't change the fact that there have patch changes a few days right before a key tournament or match. Riot looks like they've been doing better at doing smaller changes per patch, as opposed to big changes per patch.
