[IEM] Kiev Discussion - Page 183

At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected")

At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

Thanks.

Casters say that the crowd (other LoL teams) are all cheering for TSM.

M5 don't have fans amongst their peers, lolol.

I would say,

Jungle: same
Bot: TSM by far

You are out of it if you think M5 is winning mid...
wtf

Both games have just been an unforable matchup for the other guy though. Galio with fast blue shit on Cass and Cass with fast blue shit on Morde.

Only they picked morde as a counter to cassio :S

The domination by TSM this game is even more lopsided than M5's last game, at least so far.

Tryndamere was such an awesome pick. If their top lane loves roaming so much just pick a carry top and punish him by AFK farming.
Only the weak link is strong enough to break the chain.

Also, since supports don't get enough credit, Xpecial is hands down amazing in lane and in team fights

I keep seeing Shyv and Galio being dominant in the M5 games. Are there more important bans that are necessary against them?

GP, Ryze, Nunu, Sona.

Think trading Galio for Nunu was pretty effective this game.

TSM, all 4 with Baron, pushing Bot Inner.

Nunu dies as soon as tower down.

Shy gets caught too

TSM 12 - 2 M5, in kills.

True, but Alex's Galio ultimates are much better then Regi's cass ultimates where he misses most of them. He did get that money ultimate at that early dragon fight this game, but Alex's Galio ultimates are just consistently awesome.

As bottom tower dies, Sivir initiates with Ult. Sona kills Shyvana, lol. Nunu also dies, but TSM loses Lee Sin. TSM keep the siege up.

I don't think M5 is winning mid. At ~15 mins he was keeping up in CS and down 1 kill despite the blue buffs and everything else going on. I just think he's performing slightly better than Reginald so far.

On the other hand, him farming Wraiths and Wolves made Shyv extremely behind.

This is actually true. He is the one support I see consistently influencing games. That's what you get from a former rank 1 ap carry on support I guess.

M5 is just not tanky enough to protect the Koggles.

I hope this means we'll get to see Regi's secret AP!
