That's just what TOO yells out when he gets queued up with another TSM member in solo q. Seems appropriate.

Rainman would be MVP if OddOne hadn't gone beast mode all day with Maokai. Strong ganks all day and then strong counter jungling against EG. Overall dominant performance across the board, however.

Let the audience have their excitement and express it with their shouts of joy. ^^ TSM played really well and finally won a tournament after a long time so their fans are understandably really happy.

Well, good on TSM for winning. I'd much rather have seen EG take it but oh well. I guess the gaming house is helping.

Epik must be damn sad to get 2nd again...

Overall I was pretty disappointed in their choice of camera shots at exciting moments. Maybe it's just me but seeing shots of the crowd really isn't that appealing to me, it's more entertaining seeing the players reactions to teamfights/end of games/etc.

Chaox still tournament MVP imo, played consistently awesome through the whole tourney.

blue buff more important than dragon
oddone maokai just as scary as his nunu ever was

Well I was so impressed by how much teamwork TSM had o.o like they stole so many blues from EG... counterganked in general... and holy shit maokai...

The only US AP carry who plays Zilean anywhere close to as well as Regi is jiji (and jiji doesn't even play AP for CLG anymore). Dealing with Salce or Scarra on Zilean is not the same thing by a long shot. Then that is scarra/salce's fault for not being as good as another top tier AP carry on the most powerful mid AP champ in the game? I don't like thinking in terms of players being the champs, but rather what the champ itself is bringing to the table in the game that is happening. They are pro players, and I assume they are going to play their champions at or near their full potential in a major tournament.

The other teams (CLG, v8, etc) have probably been watching this very closely to learn strats and counters. For now, I think TSM is probably the #1 team since they're so in form. But in LoL, the top spot changes very fast.

Yeah, the production/camera person really needs to learn what's important to show in these situations. We were all waiting to see the bans/picks screen but all we get was Phreak/Rivington.
The problem with the post-game camera shot is probably the delay on the spec system. The game was finished 3 minutes before we saw it so the camera missed the reaction already.

So now the question becomes how awesome is Maokai with the new masteries?

Why not try and shake TSM out of their newfound comfort zone, instead of trying to change up everything you are doing? Epik have had 4 very different lineups every game. I don't think you've seen EG vs TSM scrims 10-0 regi kass 20-0 chaox trist every single game. they don't have room to ban maokai That is 2 champions you listed, so just ban Maoki as third? They have to do something to change up what TSM has been doing, and they aren't. Sure, there are other good champions to ban, but I think it is pretty clear they don't know what to do against this maoki. He's been used 4 straight games with no answer. If you don't know how to beat him, you aren't beating him. Then they leave Zilean open for Regi. You make it sound like it's so easy to ban Maokai, without leaving open something that's a much bigger threat. They're really stuck between a rock and a hard place here, because I don't think they have any answer to the other champs they're choosing to ban either.
I'd rather see them ban Maokai and try to deal with the other composition at least. When you get swatted by the same champion over and over again it looks worse when you don't bother banning him. Clearly you can't beat Maokai so at least give something else a shot.

They are pro players, and I assume they are going to play their champions at or near their full potential in a major tournament. Unfortunately they can't always play the champion perfectly. EG can't just go "oh well, too bad that Salce isn't as good as Regi at Zilean" and let it go. They have to play around that fact, and in this case, they considered letting Regi have Zilean to be much worse than having to play against Maokai again. Without having been in their shoes, I don't think anyone can be in a position to criticize that judgment.
