Will probably miss a lot of Friday and Saturday. At least I'll get to see the group of death tomorrow! And the finals!

I think if CLG pulls the Chauster/jiji switch they might win the whole thing or they'll crash and burn horribly in group A. Cause the way I see it, if they do that switch Chauster is going to fucking demolish every other AP carry there and jiji has already shown he can play AD carry against any of the other ADs.

If they don't win it all I think Dignitas has got this one. I don't think Fnatic stands any sort of chance making it out of group A.

What I'm really surprised with for D is that Jatt is their shot caller and he's their "newest" member.

When you think about it, Junglers have the best timingwindows and mapawareness. Think it makes sence Also, Jatt is a beast. You'd listen to him too or he will jump you out of the brush

It's what Jatt does. That's how Rebel Rising [rawr] was run when they played Guild Wars - Jatt made all the calls. Funny enough, you can see Jatt's Guild Wars playstyle (shitton of tanky characters and outlast them in teamfights) from his old LoL team, WHALE (shitton of tanky characters and outlast them in teamfights).

Bah, I'll look into making a list of "pro" players later today. Will probably need help with EU though.

Good ol' WHALE.
I don't really watch much Gman anymore, but wasn't he pretty good when it came to competitive 5s? What happened to that? And Atlanta for that matter?

WHALE took some games off TSM back forever ago. They were pretty decent but they usually would just run all tanky DPS always. It was an interesting style but it got shut down pretty easy when teams played smart.

Atlanta still plays. I don't remember what team he's on but I think he was at IPL3? edit: Confirmed on the IPL thread. He plays for Goose/Blight.

I don't think we should really take anything from solo queue as people like chauster just play what they want to. I know he has liked playing Brand and Cass but it didn't really mean much. I doubt they would change it up after so long.

On stream saint and Hotshot have asked Chauster, "are you practicing your APs?" Yesterday while jiji was playing Rumble saint said, "Rumble? That's not an AD carry..."

It seems very likely that it's at least on the table for them.

Im a big fan of the kid, but last time jiji played solely AD, HSGG pretty much just carried every game. jiji played very safe and never really outfarmed his bot lane(and missed like 9/10 arrows)

but yea im super excited to see if dignitas can keep up their form.

Group A is really the championship bracket- whoever comes out of that is going to win. Assuming we see a 1st place group A vs 2nd group B and vice versa its gonna be an all group A final.

I would not put Sypher below SK currently.

New metas rule the tournament scene currently and they have been looking strong.

Oh, I could totally see it crashing and burning. Still I can see Chauster going crazy and always winning his lane as AP carry. I can also see jiji/Elementz able to at least keep up with any of the other AD/support lanes. He may get out farmed a bit but I don't think it'll be too bad.

His Ashe arrows were really bad at IEM Cologne but his Caitlyn and Kog'Maw play was really good there.

Basically I feel like it'll either be awesome and they'll win the whole thing or it'll be the most fail thing ever and they'll get 0-3'd in group A.

Group A is really fierce, but must show my love to TSM and Regibro! Hopefully they can put up a great showing at this tournament.

It starts at Thursday, Oct 13 4:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

OP should probably use date tags instead of time tags.

Yeah, my first thread was just a copy/paste from the SC2 LR thread so I didn't bother changing any of the tags. I'll look into changing the time tags to date tags.

Also, thanks MoonBear for the awesome banner.

Did they? I didn't change any of the time tags for the matches, just the date tag for the start time at the beginning of each day.

I'm so sad that Group A have all my favorite teams and 2 will be out =/
Not to insult the teams in group B but just LOL
So damn stupid
CLG wasn't suppose to come but the Asian team bailed out, talk about luck but a LOL tourney w/o CLG is bad =) no drama no controversy. Also i seen Bigfatjiji playing AD carries on his stream and we all know how bad CLG's bottom duo is compare to others. So maybe we might see a switch in roles.
