I mean we have seen either NA or EU dominating in former tournaments, but never a stomp like this one.

Yeah I know. But it just didnt look as dominating as Fnatic (and to a lesser degree SK) looked here. I mean Fnatic didnt drop a single game, and it never even looked close. Thats why I just have a hard time imagining them getting stomped next tourney. But I guess you are right, in the end anything can happen.

I only got to see day one as I've been traveling all weekend and am too exhausted to watch LoL vods. I'll try and catch up on the games I think I'll enjoy. I want to see Fnatic be at more tournaments. I'm glad that SK was actually able to do better than 4th at a live event for once. I actually think that it's hilarious how poorly TSM has been performing lately. CLG still seems strong despite the fourth place but what happened with them against Sypher? Did they get out picked, straight up outplayed, or what? Looks like Sypher is a team to take seriously, beating both Curse and CLG.

And Gamescom was the only big tournament they even lost a game (they weren't in china tho). And as someone said here they not just won - they simply dominated every single game from like 10-15 minute mark onwards. I'm p. sure they are #1 atm by a long margin. Sypher played very well and I think CLG really just wants to get it over with. I'm pretty sure they just want to go home at this point. Well - 1st 65 minute long game proves otherwise...In 1st game they simply outpicked Sypher taking this poke comp with nida, sona and trundle and thx to numerous mistakes sypher made finally won the game. In second they were outpicked, outfarmed and outplayed. Nasus and Karthus left unchecked stomped them. In last one they didnt ban nasus but focused on shutting him down (zil slow, gp speed up, vayne condemn, cho etc.) while Sypher knowing they can't end games fast (like fnatic for example) responded with sick lategame comp with nasus and trist, and after about 40 minutes when it looked like CLG is in driver seat, outplayed them, used that edge crushed them and finished game. All that in like 2-3 minutes.

Remember what Skyyart told in interview yesterday, that they couldnt go for Nasus or other lategame champ vs. Fnatic, bc they are mid game team, and they d never see that late game of theirs. CLG on the other hand seem to have such a trouble to finish their games so even absurd comps like Nasus-Tristana work perfectly. I don't know why it is so - hey cant see bigger picture, don't have balls or coordination to pull those thngs of, but it's for sure one of their bigger problems, when compared to EU.
