SK and CLG should either try to do the same thing or even better pick safe lanes and build a team for late game. They don't need to pick lanes that will win or dominate, they just need lanes where they can farm safely and then not get themselves ganked. Will be interesting to see if SK/CLG can run a safe team. I'd like to see what happens with CN vs. Westerners when the Chinese teams don't get the kills and dominance they like early game.

I say this because in about 90% of the games I have ever seen Ocelot play Akali he loses them because the enemy team either 1) Counter-Picks him. or 2) Shuts him down so hard that he's down 50+ CS at 20 minutes or has x/4+/y by 20 minutes. Last game, no the Akali pick didn't matter, but if they had a Traditional AP pick instead of the akali like say Annie or Brand (i think orhi was banned? I'll check in a sec) that there team fight would have been much much better and more than likely brought them back into the game when they almost evened it at about 15 minutes.

That's such a baseless statement, they were so far behind and have you ever tried laning as brand or annie vs. a fed karthus? It's not a very nice feeling.

But Akali has a better time vs a fed Karthus? You are right in the sense that it might have been mostly irrelivant, but how does akali farm at ALL if the Karthus has the lane control he had? Even just being brand allows him to get 3-5 of the CS AND trade with Karthus much better than akali could have pre 6.

Plus he would have been totally useless in teamfights anyway. And vs CLG Cho just shat on him in every single team fight.

Not really. The reality is that Annie's AoE engage and Brand's laning potential is bar none. He might still lose his lane, but ... I mean, he might be the best laning phase mage in the game.

Yeah, they pretty much all play the "full pressure gank" strategy, which as someone said yesterday is ironic because in Dota it's the opposite - it's the Western teams that play "full pressure gank" and the Chinese teams who play safe. I'd like to see a good, safe, late-game strategy from SK or CLG. They should have the experience advantage there over Chinese teams. So, as they say in SC 2, they should be looking to drag it to the late-game.

I'm sorry but this is so illogical it frustrates me, If he did it on Akali he would do it on brand too. It was a mistake on his part, the champion didn't put bloodlust into him.

Super surprised they didn't take Janna... Maybe their support player dislikes Janna. It's why CLG never runs Amumu. SaintV just doesn't like Amumu."
