That'd destroy so many champions, Janna (dont you dare touch mah waifu) and Alistar being the first which spring to mind.
that doesn't make any sense there are only a select few champs who ali and janna can do that too
you don't only pick them against those champions you pick them all the time all it just is make a bunch of champions (leona vi whatever) garbage because of a gimmick

Depends on if you are the person to tilt. I've gone on 15 game loss streaks over 3-4 days, but I've also gone on big win streaks. I don't think I'm a person who tilts, ranked is just so random sometimes...
From the Champion Mastery page's FAQ It’s based on the champion and role that you just played in a game. So, for example, we look at Annie mid differently to Annie support. We take a series of performance metrics and compare how you do to all other players in your region in your champion / position combination. It is percentile driven - so earning a high score means you performed in the top x% of players on that champ in that position. The grade itself governs the point gains.
I wonder if it also takes into consideration rank: a Challenger Lucian is obviously going to be better in dmg stat, CS and perhaps even KDA than some bronze guy even if both win a game super hard.
I don't really see any other option working vs Zed anymore aside from maybe Steraks but the zhonyas active is just very strong and you decide when you use it etc.
I like to play Sivir, but getting spell shield onto his ult in a big team fight is absurdly difficult. Might actually consider going Zhonya's until they do something about him.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the amount of low tier Lucians vastly outnumber the high tier Lucians, which muddies the %s quite a bit. I'd even go as far to assume that a popular champion with lower winrates in lower ranks is easier to get an S on than weak/unpopular/"only mains" champions.
For example, I played a game as Malz mid after the hotfix with Janna runes/masters because my friend and I forgot to trade in champ select. I went 1/4/8 with very pedestrian play at best and still somehow ended up with a B.
if you want to get S or higher on support you don't focus on making plays that will win the game
you focus on spamming fucking wards spam wards base spam more ward i fucking did it to get S+ ranks on taric all the time after someone told me about how wards contribute to your score

yes riots algorithms are retarded
Would agree.
I have an S- on thresh after yolo picking him, forgetting to double tap Q, missing flays ults, etc. Just warded constantly and got the S-.

I already told you the support algorithms are whack rito is plagued with medicore players who think wards win games and not good players TL is plagued with the same players but they don't post anymore and I do so that kind of dilutes it down a lot.
There are smart things you could try to calcultae with ward strength for example river wards in early game are high value because they avoid jungler ganks wards close to baron when your team is behind in gold are high value pink wards bought against stealth champs are high value
most other wards are meh and should have a low weighting. Maybe wards at dragon while dragon is up should have some value.
but that would be difficult to do and hardish to justify so lets just follow the narrative that a good support is the one who places more wards and if players want ritos approval they can spam their sightstone wards and base until they get what they want.
the ward algos are easier for other players because if you place your yellows to avoid ganks and keep a pink up that's pretty much as much as it is possible to ward but they probably don't even count yellow trinket because people buy CV and red trinket so they probably just don't count or count pinks or count yellows for 10 minutes.
Its more likely that some players, who know that wards are heavily counted in the algorithm regardless of how many are reasonable, simply spam wards, and doing so make it impossible for the rest of the players to reasonably get high scores than wards not winning games.
Just a diminishing returns on the value of wards would fix it. 1/minute is worth x, 1.5/minute is worth 1.1x. 2/minute is worth 1.15x. So if you dump a bunch of wards in the fountain it doesn't help.
edit: Or more technically, it does but its outweighed by the losses you're going to find everywhere else by wasting time there.
To be fair, I have no idea what she was like 2 patches ago LOL. But like, her damage is ridiculous. Idk, I'll gladly keep carrying with her. Her ult seems to waveclear a lot quicker nowadays, despite the radius nerf. You don't need to use Q in lane as much to clear. Also mana seems to be less of a problem than it used to be.
