This is kind of how I feel when I see a jungle Nunu being locked in on my team. Sure, he might be a retard. Sure, he might catastrophically feed. But goddamn it, when you pick jungle Nunu, you are signaling that you are a team-oriented player and that you care that the team wins than you carrying. A Nunu isn't going to sit in base starting /ff votes even though the rest of the team is winning, because he's not fed. A Nunu isn't going to take all your kills and try to 1v5 them over and over again. A Nunu is going to protect your ADC, secure dragons, and generally be a tanky disruptive mofo. The guarantee of getting a team-oriented player is probably worth getting a subpar overall champion.
(Of course lane Nunu is basically the opposite of all of this.) I hate team oriented players I want people who can fucking carry the shit out of the game that way if they try to shut down individuals we're still ready to rek em fortunately team oriented players don't get too far in solo q lol is a team game! lulu is an example of an incredibly team focused champion and is a super hard carry to the extend she had to be nerfed constantly. You carry harder by putting gold into your team. Saying you want players who just look out for themselves is straight up stupid. The ideal carrying is the opposite of teamplay is so wrong. Say in previous season a jungle taking dragon to give the team gold is more about putting money in there pockets than it is yours. Heck it can be completely correct for you to die in situations for the benefit of the team.

Navitar got to diamond on a controller iirc abusing release Diana

The thing that irks me most about the dragons is the Riot doublespeak that went along with it. Riot has said numerous times that they were unhappy with the level of sustain, but then out comes the Ocean Dragon. Maybe it's alright if everyone has it? Is that the theory?

at this point we're arguing semantics faker plays lulu but i wouldn't call him a team oriented player
to me team oriented means helping your team so one of them can carry while you can basically force them to carry by dragging them by the balls through every situation but thats a lot more aggressively strong than most people would say "team-oriented"
whatever its a semantical argument every carry player is a team oriented player because you can't 1v5 and every team oriented player carries if he's good at it
saw a few support carries yesterday, jannas pushing and calling risky lvl 5 dragons, flash ulting people away from tower for kills, strong roam plays legendary kdas built up over a game with a mostly feeding team etc you can win more than you lose playing safe with players of equal mmr to you but that's boring to me

rofl teut you were the person making the distinction in the first place
you're basically arguing with yourself over semantics

Yeah this would descend into semantics. But I would say you have the mentality of someone who just wants to sit on a smurf all day or elo boost and wreck people. Like Faker does not go into soloQ games looking to smash lane and pick up solo kills.
Also what is mord jungle like? I'm enjoying him at the moment and like the idea of playing one champ in lots of roles.

I don't like the new dragons at all. People have said it 100 times but it's so true, dragons can make the game pretty random. One game we got 3 dragons and had a massive lead. All three were the MS dragon, it's like having no buff at all. Game took 40 minutes to close bc enemy team had a nice comeback, but I doubt it would have happened if we had gotten a single Fire or Ocean dragon.
Another game my team got a 6 minute Ocean dragon, playing Mao top was hilarious, infinite sustain. Some dragons win you games, the others are veyr niche and tend to not be as good.

That moment when you first pick Zac and your team locks in Ori / Yasuo next round.
Dat Wombo-combo.

I've gotten 3 airs and an earth in an even game. Enemy team stole a water, and we lost, in part due to that.
Air feels like it's not even worth contesting, while you have to fight 4v5 for a water because if you steal and lose 3, that's still probably even. Dragon RNG is stupid atm. There just needs to be less RNG involved, so that every dragon either is worthwhile, or isn't.

Also, Taric is the hardest nunu counter. LOL.
I was playing against one the other day, and straight up we stood in like 6 ults, full channel, which did absolutely zero damage. Nunu ult isn't really supposed to do damage anyway

I gotta say there are few things more satisfying in life than waiting in the bush by their jungler's red, Empiring him as he starts it, and one-shotting him with the full channel ult.

I think air is better than it gets credit for. If you get 1 (but especially 2 airs) anyone can split push. Run out push minions run away. Repeat again and again. You got lots of gold and pushing all the lanes gives you vision and it pressures towers and I'm sure it's just annoying as fork to play against. Move speed does real work.

I think the issue with Air is that it provides real (comparable with the other drakes) power to several champs only. Guys like Rengar, Tryndamere, Master yi enjoys it a lot, but 90+ percent of the champs just don;t benefit from movement speed as much as they would benefit from the other dragons

if it were flat movement speed it would be cool but out of combat is just toxic lol

Yesterday I had a game where we had Rengar (me), Xin Zhao, Zed, Jinx and Bard vs Riven, Kha, Le Blanc, Vayne and Thresh. It also happened that we were all on a similar skill level (mid plat).
This was one of the funniest and most enjoying games I played for maybe already an year. It was constant outplaying and outsmarting going in both directions, since minute 2 till the very end. We won, but the enemies thanked us for the entertaining game at the end (should have made a print screen).
Which made me realize how much fun Lol can be, when you finally get equally matched 10 people outside of the tanks meta.
I am telling you, riot should forbid more than one tank per team and no tanks at all every 3rd game xD (joking of course), but I really wish more games like this to happen. Something that actually remind us that this actually a game :-)
