That is what we are saying. He is going to get hit with the nerfbat obviously (Trundle was already terror toplane against anyone besides OP Maokai), but then what? Either they keep his % Resists steal which makes him a lategame terror in a way that almost no champion is right now, or they do a rework on his abilities.

that Illaoi change is probably good, but the Q needed the cdr buff a lot more. If you could max W without having a 15 sec cd or w/e it is Q, she would be pretty strong in lane.
I never see Aurlion soul at all, I tried him and don't like him and yet he's been nerfed twice seems weird

Q is pretty fine I'd say. the buff that'd do the most for her would prob be to give it 20-30 damage more at some point, because that's pretty much what she lacks to one-shot minions if you don't rush Cleaver (and rushing Cleaver's a bad idea if you're not split-pushing). That'd make her laning really obnoxious though. 
What she actually needs is QoL on animations and how W buff works. It goes away as soon as you start the animation so any displacement, move out of range, target die before she hits, etc. and she loses the W buff and doesn't get a tentacle slap either. I've seen people flash during the animation and not get hit at all too (had Gauntlet activated and it didn't go on cd/the slow field didn't appear when I crashed the ground where my target was, neither near me nor him).
Improving her aa animation even just a bit, it can get really hard to get cs without burning W at times.
