There is a really cool Tahm Kench synergy I haven't really seen mentioned.
Tahm can eat allies with duration ultimates (Morg/Kennen/Fiddle), and they will continue to ult from inside him.
So basically Fiddle can ult, you eat him, and fiddle is invincible inside you while you run at enemies with the 50% MS bonus running towards enemies. Same thing with kennen/morg.
You can even do a global version:
1. Tahm ults with fid. 2. they arrive, fid ults, Tahm W eats fid again (W). Run at enemies with bonus speed.
Global is gonna only work well with fiddle because kennen already has W to run in, and morg has to be in range of enemies to start her ult.
unfortunately Tahm can't flash with champs in him, because that would basically give these champs double the amount of flash initiations and be pretty cool.
there is actually a pretty long list of champs with non-channeled duration effects that can continue working from inside of Tahm. Heres a list of ones that have even semi-useful effects. I haven't tested every one but they should all work.
Karthus defile aura (could be pretty solid) Kennen ult Lucian ult (weird but works) Maokai ult (metatanky or return of AP maokai?) Morgana ult Nasus ult (AP nasus, Tahm best buddies, over 4 seconds of being eaten a 600ap naus would do 56% max hp dmg) Rammus ult (4 seconds of 600 ap rammus is 1620 damage lol, the full ult is 3k) Renekton ult Rumble flamespitter Shyvanna burnout Singed poison (rofl) Swain ult (pretty boss, as I assume swain can heal while inside, gives him a second megazhonyas+speed boost) Wukong ult Mundo W Blitz ult passive Fiddle ult Garen spin (full damage crit garen+Tahm bot lane new meta)

Can you eat someone then use teleport with him ?

That sounds even better. On June 25 2015 00:18 Goumindong wrote:On June 25 2015 00:15 RouaF wrote: Tahm's nomnom + thresh lantern combo could be hilarious. Eat people and burp them under tower. Anyone know if this interaction works. Catfish eats thresh -> ults -> ally takes thresh lantern ride all the way. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work, just like you cant wait for thresh to recall and then grab his lantern all the way into the pool. Can Tahm Teleport with a Devoured Ally? No
Probably for the best, but sadness.

I basically just asked this question.

Put Karthus inside Tahm Kench
He's like an APC

ahhh.. didnt read the full third page

yeah no TP or flash with allies, Kalist ult is reported to work though
So Kalista+Galio+Tahm
Kench eat Galio, Kalist ult Kench
You can now throw Galio 1200 range.
gotta try that, thats like the sickest initiate ever
basically all the shenanigans people imagined with kalista and amumu etc are now possible without having a terrible gimp support (unless Tahm is really bad at support).

Buncha people don't read anything actually.
Wiki says "no TP, no Flash, no Lantern", basically it's like Skarner's ult so it's consistent. And champions eaten can still activate effects (on nightblu's stream he ate an allied Thresh who activated Talisman while inside), prob only allies since it's a hard cc on enemies.
He's super slow (95% slow so basically he'll be somewhere between 100 and 140 MS with the cap) and it's only 3s so you won't do much, mostly it's like forcing them to flash toward your team distance-wise, and an up-to-3s duration suppression. Helping an ally initiate on the other hand... and the distance isn't far, plus he's got an animation for spewing the ally, so you can't really send someone into the enemy team the way Fate's Call does, it's more getting them closer or something than really allowing the initiation. Of course if you do that with a Yi or Tryndamere or Olaf it still reduces the damage they take since you're probably the tankiest champion in the game while E is up, while letting you use Glory and the bonus to get close, and they can save their own gapcloser for better chasing later.

Woot woot, I was just looking for a good jungle item for Irelia! Nothing else really made sense for her because she really needed that Sheen proc in order to be useful...I'd end up going Sheen before finishing Cinderhulk or Warrior, but it just wasn't an efficient route. Played one game with Runeglaive, and it's AMAZING. It gives Irelia that bit of extra damage and mana sustain without creating a weird build path ^^; now I feel pretty confident just going Runeglaive straight into tank instead of something weird like Sheen into Cinderhulk into Trinity Force into more tank why???
I'm really excited about this item and its synergy with AP Fizz and Diana as well :D.

Probably pretty decent as a support, got decent poke, can save his carry and his E makes him insanely gold efficient. Tank supports have been pretty strong recently anywho.
Also if you and jungler coordinate backs, you can do a sick gank with your ult.

Wiki says "no TP, no Flash, no Lantern" ...
Sure, it says that today, but it said the complete opposite yesterday (which is when I read the wiki).

Oh? I'm sure it said you can't as far as I read the wiki... started yesterday too. Work on your timings!

Runeglaive too gud on moonbae.

Looking at the history it first didn't have the info, then it had the correct info, and then periodically idiots changed it to the incorrect info.
My timing was apparently just awful, but the point stands!

Moonglaive doesn't solve the issue of early first 2-3 clears, I'm suspect if it'll change the jungle pool at all.

They cleared fine, the problem was their build path was fairly underwhelming at the time, and were having clearing issues building tank without cinderhulk being introduce.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but that seems pretty contradictory. APs had the same issues with mana sustain that Tanks had with a lack of damage. Like Bami's provides some damage(and Cidnerhulk more) Sheen provides some flat mana and Runeglaive provides missing mana sustain.

Like Bami's provides some damage(and Cidnerhulk more) Sheen provides some flat mana and Runeglaive provides missing mana sustain. the first statement was about their first 2-3 clears. with machete, gragas and sej didn't really have any issues clearing through jungle in the beginning of the game. the problem arose when, warriors/brutalizer finally kicked in, warriors jungler had much faster clear than those who built juggernaut.
so there was a huge dichotomy in clear times post jungle item between tank junglers and warriors junglers pre-juggernaut.
the problem with most ap jungler exist in regards to their first 2-3 clears, once they get magus it becomes less of an issue, but the limiting factor is first 2-3 clears, not the subsequent clears after.

I think he meant earlygame vs. mid-late. An I agree with him on that point. I also disagree with your general premise, because they made cinderhulk so good that it was built on laning champions, and on "warrior" champions, like Reksai. However, if Glaive is lane worthy, and worthy of being built on champs like Gragas (why not, hes AP, used to love Lichbane toplane), it will change things greatly, just not how its been advertised to.

Runeglaive is to AP assassins as Cinderhulk was to tanks. I'll be surprised if we don't see anyone take advantage of Jungle Lich Bane being a thing.
