dunno man looks like blitz doing well when people play him in arranged play even froggen carried with him for fucks sake he's just a champion that relies on one skillshot more than any champion in the game including nidalee
the "in solo q" is such a stupid term because it doesnt mean anything except that theres no skill floor when making the claims no matter what you claim there are players bad enough to make your claim true so whats the point of saying it at all
honestly thresh only has a lower winrate because he's the goto support for anyone who doesnt play support while not a lot of people will pick blitz
Idk man, you don't get stuff like 5man Skype calls which could make thresh W way more potent in solo q. And while blitz isn't as popular as thresh, he's still picked a fuckton. What's even more notable is that in his free week (yea those are normal games, shoot me), his winrate barely dropped to 52-53% despite people who had 0 idea how to play him (free week). Who knows, maybe blitz is better than thresh in progames too and the pros are just using shittier champions because they think it's good or something. I never said that blitz was worse than thresh in progames, just that people have more reason to pick thresh in a progame when compared to solo queue (outside of lantern value which is hard to quantify, blitz pretty much outclasses thresh in every way).
You also had champs like J4 as the go-to pick before the last nerf when people had no idea how to jungle, and yet he had one of the highest winrates.
yeah but you dont need a skype call to lantern in a jarvan from 2 screens away who double hops to infinity and beyond those kind of ganks will work better in "solo queue" too
I start W, lay like 2-3 traps (depending on gromp/golem), with a leash your first clear should be ok. I level W -> E -> Q then R -> Q -> E ->W. After your first clear/back you should be fine sustain wise, get magus asap it's really really good and pretty cheap (80ap + 20% cdr???).
You basically just pounce for days and clear really fast with a heal for sustain. Fish for random spears into lanes as you clear your jungle. I don't typically gank on nidalee, if you hit some spears here and there your laners should be able to take it from there. Hard farm and transition into an ap terror.
I very rarely jungle though so hopefully someone that actually jungles regularly has more concrete tips for you.

Q, E, W.
It's not that hard to get through gromp and blue, just make sure you keep changing form and using all your cooldowns. Then spam heals to stay healthy. Nidalee is pretty good at dueling if you land spear, but it's hard to give specific advice for getting counter jungled since it depends on a lot of things.
So after looking at the winrate chart and seeing sion up there, I decided to give support sion a shot.
It turns out he's pretty strong as a support. He's not squishy, kinda scales on hp stacking and gets free hp, has good cc/armor shred and all-in potential, you can q from bush without being revealed kinda like nunu empire, has poke that ignores minions, passive is strong at all phases in the game. His passive allows him to steal the enemy buff at level 1 (and another camp if you really want to) while the lane partner can solo bot for a level.
Not sure about the build path, maybe you guys can give me some ideas. Right now I've been looking at relic shield/targons->some damage item (bruta or hydra or zekes, not sure at this point but leaning towards bruta)->sunfire or randuins, leaning towards randuins->locket->situational items. Frozen mallet seems ok on paper, but based on how bad it is normally I'm apprehensive about buying it.
Masteries are standard 21/9 and runes are your standard bruiser runes

played sion support twice in normals. he's pretty strong with graves. If you land the E, graves burst becomes insanity, not to mention you can literally shove lanes at will due to how stupid strong his E base damage is. You don't even have to worry about level 1-3 vs poke champs, either a) cuz you poke harder with E usage, or b) you can shove super hard with your adc to avoid getting poked in. I don't think you can afford to go offensive item as support sion. IMO just go full tank. relic->sighstone->targons->locket (or fheart). etc etc.
The "free HP" thing is vastly overstated. Sion has 200 to 500 HP less than most other "tanks" at level 18 because he has very bad base HP to make up for W's passive (200 less than Cho and Singed who both have additional HP integrated into their kits too, otherwise it's 300 to 500 less), so it'll take a bunch of targon's charges or assists until you catch to the base HP of other champions, let alone get "free" HP.
There's a high elo support sion guy who you'll see a lot on streams. Forgot his name off the top of my head, but from watching it, he basically just relies on Sion's dumb base numbers and is annoying as fuck. Plus if you die in a trade, the passive does a truckload of damage for no good reason.

Pretty much landing the E makes your ADC do a truck ton more damage. Free apen is sickeningly strong.
