I know I definitely overvalue warding (especially deep warding) as a player, but I'm comfortable with my style and I don't really focus on winning games or improving tbh. I suspect my score is lower because I frequently replace not-yet-expired wards with my SS before I go back to base or when setting up for an objective / defense. I also generally back more often than most other players and usually get early homeguards, though. Basically complete opposite of 101toss and I'm only silver so no conclusions pls I'm assuming you're talking about the thing that the one person posted in the Zyra jungle video. For Malzahar, I think this trick only works if you don't summon a voidling, which kills your clear time. Additionally, Malzahar doesn't actually need to abuse this trick in order to clear blue buff effectively if you pre-charge the voidling correctly. Alternatively, you can still kite blue very well due to it's slow MS, and on the bottom-left side of the map you can loop the blue buff around the wall quite far. This isn't quite true. The current machete gives everyone a DoT effect on autos, making DoTs on champion kits irrelevant for kiting. Also I'm not sure kiting ever relied on DoTs to begin with - it was completely possible to do it without, unless you're talking like s1 or beta when I didn't play. Also, largely unrelated question about the relationship between pickrate and winrate. Because the global winrate (and presumably winrate within divisions as well) is necessarily 50%, shouldn't a higher pickrate naturally (but not necessarily until 100% I guess) gravitate toward a 50% winrate? Just a few things. You can still kite in the jungle (ie running from blue buff while CDs are down), but since stuff like gromp is ranged and the ai is smarter in general, you get less mileage out of it. Still useful to do nonetheless, you can confuse the monsters and avoid taking some damage without causing it regenerate its health if you dance around the aggro range. As for winrates, 50% global winrate isn't true due to slippage from leavers which counts as a loss even if the team won (should be close to 50 though). As your sample size goes up (pickrate), the sample winrate won't converge towards 50%, it'll converge towards the champion's population (overall) winrate. Say what you want, but I feel that winrate shows the strength of a champion (a higher true winrate = stronger champion). Just apply some logic here. If everyone picked veigar in a ranked game, do you think he would end up winning 50% of the games he's in, or <40%? I'd put my money on the latter. The stats get uglier in blind pick, but since it's ranked you don't have to worry about 2x of the same champ. That's why thresh and blitz (with more than enough samples) aren't remotely close to 50%, with thresh on the lower end and blitz on the higher end.

Pretty straight forward. They nerfed it in a recent patch so that you can only do it a few times before the mob resets completely though. Mobs don't stop their auto unless you're at their leash range though. So that's really the only place kiting helps. I suppose you can reduce your travel time to the next camp by being closer to it too.

I guess if you nolife the game it adds up, but then again a nolife would have everything unlocked and wouldn't have friends to queue with either And as for kiting with melee, if you have a slow autoattack, you can move back to reduce damage taken while your next attack goes off cooldown.

And I got 28 IP from a game yesterday as 5. It's obviously like lottery, where the promise of huge gains draw people, not the actual expected gain.

Even for a shit region like NA, you're still playing with some pretty decent Support Mains/Thresh Mains in Masters/Challenger solo q. I don't believe this is not trolling. On March 03 2015 11:02 PrinceXizor wrote: there is at least an argument that blitz is a better solo queue support than thresh, if you don't play support. but i think thats the line i would draw. PX drawing a line? I'd say this is confirmation enough. Real talk though, 101toss you may be a masters player and post here to help us lower Elo league of legenders but you are doing it in such a way that makes you sound like a jabroni. For instance, I can wrap my head around LESS wards if they are more intelligently placed PLUS using map awareness to know where the jungler is. But you just... say these things. You don't actually explain. (ps Still waiting on that map of summoner's rift with ward placements, with timings, pinks vs trinket, what role you are playing, etc. More details the better!) You seem to just be spouting information while saying you are masters but it doesn't help someone like me if you don't explain.

![]() Edit: I'd be curious to see winrate overtime, but we probably can't go back to before Thresh's release and look at Blitz's pick/ban rate amongst common supports at the time, and his winrate when his pick rate his high.

dunno man looks like blitz doing well when people play him in arranged play even froggen carried with him for fucks sake he's just a champion that relies on one skillshot more than any champion in the game including nidalee the "in solo q" is such a stupid term because it doesnt mean anything except that theres no skill floor when making the claims no matter what you claim there are players bad enough to make your claim true so whats the point of saying it at all honestly thresh only has a lower winrate because he's the goto support for anyone who doesnt play support while not a lot of people will pick blitz

And while blitz isn't as popular as thresh, he's still picked a fuckton. What's even more notable is that in his free week (yea those are normal games, shoot me), his winrate barely dropped to 52-53% despite people who had 0 idea how to play him (free week). Who knows, maybe blitz is better than thresh in progames too and the pros are just using shittier champions because they think it's good or something. I never said that blitz was worse than thresh in progames, just that people have more reason to pick thresh in a progame when compared to solo queue (outside of lantern value which is hard to quantify, blitz pretty much outclasses thresh in every way). You also had champs like J4 as the go-to pick before the last nerf when people had no idea how to jungle, and yet he had one of the highest winrates.
