I had a bad day so i started being abusive to my clients. (Outside of "work" or "work hours" or not)
Manager was like np np u had a bad day.
As. fucking. if.
The day when people will understand that online =/= IRL will be a very good day.
The day when people will hold people to certain standards regardless or where they are will be a very good day.
Being abusive and an asshole should be looked down upon, regardless of whether you're online or IRL and regardless whether you're surrounded by assholes or not.
Is it the same if someone shoots at you in a video game and if he does so IRL ?
If you think that is even a remotely relevant comparison then I don't know what to tell you.
Why stop at flaming and being an asshole? Is stealing from people online acceptable?
Yes, yes it is. I've stolen hundreds of diablo 2 accounts throughout my youth and resold their contents on d2jsp. I've also returned $1000 of found money to its owner in real life.
This is so frustrating watching brokenshards stream...
Every time he starts spectating one of the (promotion tournament deciding) ranked 5's games, a player instantly gets ddos'ed (actually they get ddos'd exactly one minute into him watching, which happens to match his stream delay -.-)
So he obviously has a ddos'er watching his stream for attention. So does he stop streaming? NOPE, he starts acting surprised every time it happens, shit talking riot, laughing about it with his co-commentators, laughing at the players with his co-commentators (including laughing at guys (and players) who message him asking him to stop streaming because "yeah it's totally me ddos'ing lol") and acting incredibly self righteous...
Can't someone tell him to just place the competitive integrity of the challenger league above his stream viewer count -.-

i played with a riot'er a few weeks ago. this person was probably a woman (based on the name, i dont know who they were). the way this person was treated by the other people in the game was cringeworthy at best, downright nasty at worst. i would assume game after game is like that for him/her. im sure playing on a riot account is an exercise in patience for them all.
I'm not saying it's physically impossible, I'm saying you shouldn't. And Riot clearly agrees since they punish players for ragequitting games.

Yeah I agree. I wouldn't use a Riot-tagged account to play if I worked there. It's too much pressure and unwanted attention.

online 1's and 0's != real life.
Those "online 1's and 0's" directly relate to real life money. Do you really not see that the things you do online affects people IRL?

Pretty much my thoughts lol, how could you even admit to that?
Its also kind of a sore sport for me because I used to be a trade moderator on USEast and we had so many goddam scammers...
Shit, I was in high school and people would just hand me a 20/20/10 anni or 279% Eth DC. At one point those were worth a couple hundred apiece. One guy, Bterril moderated a trade that was worth at least 10k.

There are even laws against this sort of thing and you dont even see that you did something horribly wrong. At best you are a douche for this, at worst you are a criminal.

Damn dude.
Thats fucked up. Thats not something to be proud of man, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Its not right to take other peoples stuff man. You realize that lots of those people paid money for their gold on jsp right? You basically stole a bunch of twenties out of some guys wallet. But not just 1 guy, like 300.

You're a criminal bro.
Pretty sure the person you are quoting is using irony to show how absurd my point of view is. I'm just saying because it doesn't feel like this deserves a whole page of moral judgement.
I guess I shouldn't have written that comment anyway since nothing relevant came out of it anyway >.>
All I'm saying is that wanting a guy on a cross because you were slightly upset by one of his actions for 5 minutes of your life might be excessive.
A list of league names (e.g. Ahri's Urfriders) on the NA server. I captured 4092 unique names out of 1.53 mil players on the NA server. This should be fairly comprehensive and I believe this contains MOST of the league names possible on NA.

If you have everything unlocked for free on your riot account why would you want to have to grind on a non riot account. also maybe the company has rules about it,
i've seen rioters threaten people "its the weekend don't make me have to work today" in champ select in order to get their role how they want it. Riot is a big company, with good people, and assholes working for it.
