There are lots of people that get affected by it. I swear every third game we come out of these days my wife says dejectedly "people are so mean, I don't know if I wanna queue again." The internet is a fucking awful place for females far too often.

I always enjoyed HuK games because he would go ham and do stupid shit like Mothership rushes (before HotS), but he was never that great of a player and when he went to KR full time for a while that showed. I just brought him up because Husky loves HuK (sometimes to disturbing levels).
My 13 year old cousin is a big Husky fan.

Anyone who is in a public arena, a personality is going to get hate and threats. Anyone. Look at that whole Celebrities read mean tweets bit, look at the old GD threads where people are making jokes about Saint being drunk all the time and missing smite. Look at the bans for people in the fanclub threads.
It sucks, but it's something anyone who puts themselves out and makes content has to deal with. Be you a caster for a video game or a movie star. I'm not going to blame on sexism for what can be attributed to blind hatred.
Yeah people are mean in League, it's one of the main reasons I lost interest in it. I got tired of trying to defend myself, it put me off. The sad part is those kind of people in all honesty are a minority and yeah you really shouldn't let it bother you but I'm not going to sit here and say it's easy to do. It's not.
The internet and society is critical of everyone if they get the opportunity.

Haha. I also forgot about the soundproofing controversy. Almost like when Blaze "looked at the screen" vs. TSM. Clearly TSM would have won otherwise

Vik's playstyle seems way different. He isn't a blow your load then back off, he can be useful in and amongst it. But that means you have to change how he is built.
I feel like you want a lot of CDR (ie.maxed) on new Viktor, considering the Q functionality. 40% puts you at like 2 and half seconds for each Q. I also feel like you want greater emphasis on defensive items. E.g. He might be a decent Abyssal Scepter carrier now. I really feel like you need to be in the thick of the fights to be useful now, so you need some resists to back up your shield.
Overall, I'm not unhappy, but more testing is needed. The W change was gooooooooooood. AA change was gooooooood. Hex core change is alright. I'm not thrilled, but it isn't an abject failure. I miss the DoT on E. I miss the Silence on Ult.

As I mentioned with your last big design post, I feel like the General LoL Official Forums are actually a less likely way to get yourself heard than Reddit. Even though they're technically "official", Reddit's popularity is going to make top-of-Reddit discussions way more visible than stuff on the official forums.

I think it's tough to judge EDG after their groupstage performance and I'd be cautious of jumping to conclusions. If that was EDG giving it their best then sure, it looked pretty bad. But given the make-up of their group they had the option to put in a ton of effort and best case split 1-1 with SSW and then lose the tiebreaker and finish second, or coast through the group doing the bare minimum and make it through second anyway, which I think is what we saw. Group stage games in any sport can be deceptive that way. I still think the most likely semifinals is SSW/SSB and NJWS/EDG with an all-Korea finals. It is just a shame that we (most likely) won't get to see a Bo5 series between a CN team and an LCS team.

i was by no means a viktor 'main' before this change, but i had certainly played him a fair amount. i think this rework is one of riots best. they took a clunky, confused kit and made something much, much better.
this kit is a HUGE improvement. he feels much more fluid to play now, and i thought it was a blast. getting an upgraded w, into an e-r felt awesome. after you blow your big combo you can run around the outskirts of a fight with q and chunk squishies for 1/3 of their health.
i also am confused about calling lich bane a trap item. i rushed it and it seemed pretty good.
