Needs a babysitter to get going. My experience is same as Ketara's, too many solo laners can just zone your entirely from your creep wave at level 1. You dont even have the capability to assist a jungler who comes early. Its pretty bad. Thing is, even when you get rolling you can't really make plays on Azir. Think about all the playmaking Ahri brings, and now picture Azir as the complete opposite. Any playmaking ability Ahri has, Azir has the complete and utter opposite unless you built ridiculous items. Even if you build like fully tanky AP you are squishy as hell, and dont have the burst to do anything aside from be an ADC with self peel. I'm not saying he is bad, but he isn't your typical mage. Then teamfights came and it didn't matter because the team as a whole fed a bunch of people, and when a support can afford to rush rylai then claim, doesn't matter if it's Azir or another one. But pre-6 he was never a threat. Wowow. That 5-man Gnar -> Zyra ult -> 4-man Ori ult right before Zyra's pop on Scarra's stream was so fucking scary. Easy ace, wombo combo. | ||
