Cass feels absurdly weak to me now. The problem is they gutted her damage early and force her to farm stacks a lot, but Twin Fang's mana cost is obscene at level 5 (90 mana). It feels like to get back to where she was before (or exceed) you probably need 3 items and 400 stacks, but she probably doesn't even scale half as good as Ryze (and she should probably be better considering she doesn't get to zoom zoom with a really low cooldown ult and isn't tanky at all).
They need to reduce the mana cost on her twin fang (by like 20-30 at level 5). Probably restore some of the q scaling (and maybe remove some from the final level of the passive- it blows my mind they removed over half the ratio of q). And then lower the stacking mechanism to 150 and 300 for the last two levels. They basically removed any ability to have kill potential on an opponent early unless they're comically inept, so she needs to get a lot in return late.
Edit: Even if they fix the bug on her E, I'm extremely skeptical she'll be okay.

I thought I earned the perfect ascension Icon, but I guess I didn't, and my enemy team got ascended a few times.
So, does anyone want to try-hard with me and play a perfect ascension game?
I think easiest way to do it is either get like Akali Ascended, and then have like Raka or something. But like... Man this seems hard to do. With no smite its silly easy to get Xerath stolen.

Perfect ascension seems pretty straightforward with a 5 stack since all you need is reasonable draft and coordination.

I'm telling you dudes, Morde is THE BEST ascended champion in the game, kill someone with ult = 2 heros doing ascended damage, cast w on youself and walk at people you will out damage them whist gaining shield faster than they can damage you
everyone is spamming assasins too, so it's super easy to get a ghost that does a shitload of damage.

the thing about Morde is his heal mechanic is a shield so it isn't reduced by the buff, making it bonkers
also the mode has a ton of objectives with brush nearby so you don't get kited nearly as bad as SR, and if you get the ascended buff you are the objective.

Do you need to get all the members on your team ascended, and no one on other team, or just one member on your team?
Because I feel like it should have worked last game but it didn't.

Just pick Raka, and in any game which your team gets ascended, heal them forever so they never die.

Ascension is just mini dominion. If I want fast and fun I think I would play it over dominon. If I don't want fast and fun I would just play SR. Dominion is just stuck in mediocrity between SR and Ascension.

25% CDR
250 AD
250 AP
500 HP
Infinite Mana
30% Armor Pen
30% Magic Pen
Anyone that likes Gunblade is OP as fuck when Ascended. Akali, Jax, Kat, Kayle, Warwick, etc. These guys just become absurd with Ascension. Hecarim I bet too is probably scary. Never seen it though.
When you kill stuff with your Q, it does more damage for the rest of the game, basically.

You gain permanent stacks whenever you kill something with Q, including structures. Q adds these stacks to the base damage and the ratio whenever it deals damage, so it effectively scales through farming as long as you use it to last hit minions. During the midgame you can almost one-shot people if you farmed your Q well enough.
