People consider him to be reasonably strong late game because a properly played Alistar effectively has a Malphite ult on a ~10 second cooldown, giving him strong initiation and catch potential. On top of that, in the lategame when your carries can shred anyone in the span of ~5 seconds, Alistar's cc, which can't be mitigated, provides just that. | ||
