If you go into the US on a tourist VISA I believe you have to declare that you are an actual tourist, not like... you know, playing games for an organization and such. Dexter was not doing that and he was found out.

But you are right, I think CLG only wanted to "try" him out, In any case, I feel CLG's reputation is seriously damaged.

I'm pretty sure either Dexter/CLG did not prepare for the customs interview. Dexter probably has a B1/B2 visa (business/pleasure) but the use cases for entry are for temporary stays - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B_visa. IE he would be quickly denied if he in anyway mentioned that he would be essentially working / was expecting to stay in the US for an extended period of time.

Edit: Just realized dexter is from Germany so the visa waiver program applies. Much the same conditions - http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html - for stays of 90 days or less.

I just read somewhere that he went to bota with the same visa as for worlds and it seemes to be np not sure what went weog this time but clg fucked up fo sho

Because BotA and Worlds were temporary stays. The visa waivers are valid for that. However this time he was on his way for what is essentially full time employment within the US. And that is not allowed on a waiver but requires a fully approved visa.

I've noticed more toxicity than normal too. I'm still pretty adamant in the concept that when school is out the number of toxic players increases. Playing in the mornings on school days is the best way to play.
