@Wei - so you're saying a fresh account just hitting level 30 can hit diamond in 3-4 days?
Probably not unless they dedicated the entire day to grinding games and they're actually mid-high diamond material.
If you have 100+ games where you're actually playing somewhat seriously you're pretty much very close to the division you "belong" in, though with the fact that you can't drop between divisions there's some "inflation" over the course of the season.

Some games you simply won't win(stuff like jungle tryn getting 4 kills by 5 minutes for example). Probably around 100-200 games to get to diamond though unless you're really, really fucking good. So I went riven mid and have gone against annie, fiddle and ryze. Annie and fiddle werent too bad (well, fiddle started to shit on me late game since they also had chogath so I was like perma silenced/knocked up/feared) but ryze I was kind of struggling against.
The one thing I kind of have an issue with is actually killing them early. I poke and get them a little low, but they go back to base so often it is hard to finish the job.
EDIT: We still won of course, but I was at like 10-10-14 by the end or something like that (vs ryze)

Like in sc2 back when I was high masters I leveled a smurf to masters in like 1-2 days, but it seems like LoL takes longer? In LoL, Silver1 is 15% percentile, and Gold1 is 2% percentile, so in a way it's harder to get up from leagues to leagues.
If you keep wining, it's not that hard for you to get up in league of course lol. super pro like WildTurtle got his smurf to Challenger league in 100+ games. Realistically though, because of the Promotion Series, where you have to play bo3, bo5 in order to get promoted, it's gonna take a while (more than 1-2day) to get to diamond5 from Bronze1 since Promotion Series games alone are already 44 games, not counting games between.

Yeah I read it quite a bit actually. I've started playing LoL a bit more this past week (want to get to lvl 30 and start ranked soon), so I'm starting to ask questions and stuff. It's kind of like how I read KMD since page 1 but didn't start posting until 800 pages in, lol.

I believe its reasonably fast if you're willing to commit the time and effort, assuming that you're diamond material it probably only takes a couple of hundred ranked games to get somewhere close to that, but likely not all that many straight to plat

If you're legit diamond material, it should take you 50-100 games to reach D5. That said, it's a big difference between a D5 and D1 player.

So, if riot does the rune restructuring the way I think they will, I'm looking at a 35.5k IP refund. =D

Presumably, all the runes that don't match, i.e. ad glyphs, will be removed from the game an refunded.

Also, in other news.... tried vs bots again and you guys are right they are pretty easy. I dont know why I did so poorly the other day. I did the flash/ignite Q dive vs ryze and it definitely did not work though lol. I got away but he had too much health left. I mightve missed an auto or two or something. Not really too sure tbh.
