Without getting too much into it, alot a lot of the anti-LoL backlash stems from the massive FU whichever dude it was who moved over to LoL gave the Dota community. It's become much more than that and largely entered a sort of blind console-war equivalence, but at the root, there's some solid reasoning to not be an anti-fan of LoL if one had been a Dota player at the time.

A lot of the older players maybe hold a grudge, but a lot of it just comes through jealousy and believing their product is better, especially since both games have overlapping audiences creating lots of tension. Both games aren't also just similar in design but have lots of effort put into growing their esports scene. LoL also came second and grew up to be bigger, kind of a kick to the dota ego considering LoL never had much backing behind it initially.

Well it is challenger teams. And let's be fair Curse and Velocity are basically challenger teams with their roster shuffles. Coast is really the only LCS team in NACL imo.

There isn't. Thresh is just super strong like that, getting to tank-levels of armour isn't unusual if it goes to late game and he harvests enough souls.
Not sure why you'd pick Swain against any of Corki/J4/Renekton/Gragas, let alone all 4 of them. ._. Maplestreet is being useless this game, he's basically a short-range-slow bot, because he has no farm and he had no kill participation until NK Inc. started getting fed.

I love Swain, he's one of my first and favourite champs, but he just doesn't cut it anymore.
... actually, I'm failing to find a team comp that he'd be good against, without picking champs that haven't seen any competitive play recently. It's saddening. T_T
He should work 0K against teams that want to dive, but Zyra or Galio would still be stronger than him for this, both during and after laning. His laning itself is pretty crap right now, he's only strong if there's no jungler and his opponent has no waveclears or gets wrecked before it ramps up.

As far as mod actioning...well, post volume is high enough that it becomes hard to manage those kinds of posts.
Really if LoL was "officially" supported on TL you'd probably see those kinds of posts all the time on this subforum. If you expect otherwise, you haven't seen how parts of the LoL community disparage other games equally hard.

i guess its easy to forget that older champs didnt all have stuns ;D. i cant actually remember the last time a new champ was released with a root, everyone gets a stun these days.
back to useful discussion. how are you supposed to play vayne thresh vs corki leona. baring in mind this is solo queue. i felt like i couldnt make use of my poke due to fear of them just turning around and killing me, should i be happy to sit under the tower and wait for the jungler or can we win an early game 2v2? i ended up just playing pussy mode and waiting for team fights.
also what skills to max : l. i ended up maxing lantern for the shield, again probably not optimal but due to it being solo queue i just wanted to be able to shield my adc.

To be fair, I think they both posted in the same thread back to back, probably wasn't much of a cherry pick given how early they posted in the thread. To my knowledge though, the general TLDotA community doesn't talk about LoL.
