Vayne, Zed and recently Thresh also fall into this category, | ||

Trynds fighting power spikes at around midgame when he has boots and 2 items and ad carries still need a significant amount of time to kill stuff. this is when he should be "carrying" by splitpushing and constantly forcing fights. he is still strong lategame but only as a pusher. this is what he is good at: pushing waves and killing turrets with his massive auto while having a very strong escape and three solid tank/mitigation skills. the trynds you guys mention (who fail miserably) are the ones who's concept of trynd is the following: "trynd has so much crit lol i bet he is good at killing stuff lategame" - and that's really it. A trynd who positions for a 5on5 teamfight only wins when the opposing team is getting outplayed on every level possible or someone gets caught etc. the trynds who wreck your team ward their lane and the jungle heavily, kill minions and turrets and choose small skirmishes to get more ahead. | ||

In my experience, the Tryns who wreck my team never ever ward, which makes the poor response to his split pushing even more inexcusable. | ||
