Well, you can gank but I generally just show in lane randomly to remind them "hey I'm Eve, you "got lucky" b/c its pinked, but if you don't keep it pinked I'm going to mess you up." Of course if there's a good gank opportunity you should take it, but yeah. I'm kind of playing around with buying an Oracle's on Eve too. IMO its a good "snowball" item-- if you get an early kill and Oracle's you force the entire enemy team to play really blindly and conservatively. Unless you clearly show in one lane, all your lanes can push to tower with impunity. | ||

But unless you are reasonably sure that you will get a kill or an objective out of ganking, or that you are buying safety that will pay off later you shouldn't gank. Example of buying safety: your Jayce top lane who started Doran's Blade is pushing like crazy. You wait in the lane brush for 15 seconds after doing your buffs to countergank in case he gets ganked. He doesn't get ganked, you are beihnd but he is ahead. Teamwise things are more or less even. btw. does ANYONE here play dwarf fortress? | ||

I usually take like 10-15 seconds and poke your head in a lane, enemy sees you, you leave and go straight back to farming. You slow down your clear minimally (b/c you clear so fast anyways), but by doing that you make the opposing lane think "oh I need wards" and also relieve lane pressure. I think the Jayce example is good, but I find it a little hard to play like that in soloQ-- I always play pretty selfish as a jungler. I played a little dwarf fortress, fun but the interface is a bit frustrating. Also, I hate when you're doing well, one dwarf dies, his mom is sad, more people get sad and soon enough your dwarves all riot and die. :/ | ||
